What patients say on Google

“Avoid this entire organization (all locations) - they have gotten "too big for their britches". Although the providers themselves are sufficiently competent they have grown too large to provide acceptable patient care. You WILL experience gaps. With multiple locations you will not be able to contact your provider, everything is automated and you will be leaving voicemails. Those voicemails will either go unanswered entirely or MAYBE be returned after 48 hours. The staff at each location is only in charge of HALF their own job, aka they issue your script and disappear. All subsequent communications/resolutions go to a "med management team" that never sees you, and could care less about timeliness or you in general. Expect your script to be filled out incorrectly, expect to have to call you pharmacy then med management then the pharmacy then med management then the pharmacy....over and over and over again relaying mssges you don't understand bc you don't work in the medical industry - because no one at the office will make the effort to resolve the issue themselves....you better be a great self advocate bc your going to need to fight for your life here. God forbid you get sent to the Danville location - where Evelyn is the face of the front desk. Her mood is unpredictable but immediately evident within the first exchanged sentence. Not sure how a mental health facility can employ someone so openly condescending, pretentious and irritable...the niche clientele is likely anxious...we deserve warmth. Even their HR person "reached out"...but it was just for show...bc she didn't give me her number OR her last name to call back hahaha - just went through the “motion” of calling - likely to show her boss my number on the caller ID as "having done it". They are just SO careless. I'm so tired of the nausea and vomitting I'm subjected to monthly bc they can't make two scripts of Prozac meet. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid!!”

“I've been with my psychiatrist for 6 years. She's knowledgeable, real, empathetic, and truly a lifesaver. She takes the time to listen and explore the best treatment options for me. The office staff are always professional and kind. Hendricks Therapy takes great care of me!”

“This place shouldn’t even get 1 star. I went to them years ago, they were not the best back then. I came back a few years ago and every single month I had issues with them approving my medication to be filled.. I would withdrawal from a serious medication for 10+ days because they can’t ever answer phones or get back to you and approve it on time then says it is good when it still won’t get filled. I personally know over 4 other people that this happened with as well. They also do not keep proper track of payment receipts and I have been tried to be double charged and will be filing complaints. I have since switched providers and they are still trying to bill be for an appointment that I called and canceled but the lady who took the call never entered it.”

“If I could give their current office management zero stars, I would. They never billed me for my son’s visits, nor did they call me to let me know there was a balance. They added “rebilling” and other fees to increase the amount owed, and then turned the account over to a collection agent. The doctor my son originally saw there was great, but he left the practice. He actually took interest in my son’s mental health needs and talked to him, recommended different things and counseled him. The next doctor my son had was a prescription writer, period. There were no recommendations for counseling or anything else, just pill-pushing. They do not take Medicaid, and many people in need of mental health care are on Medicaid, including young adults who may not have jobs that provide them with good options for mental health insurance coverage. They want $120 per visit just to sign a prescription and meet with a patient for 5 minutes. I used to recommend them to others, but I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone now. Their office staff used to be consistent, organized and friendly, but that changed a few years ago. Every time we went there were new people in the office, and no one answered or returned calls or messages anymore. They’ve become greedy and disorganized, and it’s sad, because they used to be a great organization.”
