What patients say on Google

“Dr. Jessica Myszak sets herself apart from a typical evaluation conducted for PDA and co-occurring neurodivergence. I am a professional and a parent who has seen many neuropsychological evaluations in my 35-year career and 20 years of parenting. She is incredibly thorough, using layer upon layer of screening tools to capture subtle and invariably hard to diagnose presentations of PDA autism in people of all ages. I have read multiple of her reports because I refer people to her! I have also seen how her reports change the experience of the parent at the IEP meeting. Her descriptions of needs and accommodations are so clear and well-crafted the teaching team feels immediately reassured and much more able to validate a parent concern and create meaningful PDA affirming goals. There is a way she has with people, and, with her ability to see to the heart of an issue and make it accessible and relatable, that gives her obvious intelligence a deeply human quality. She has gravitas with the team (smart, quick, clear) and she is kind and understanding with children and parents. I wouldn't hesitate to use her. An affirming evaluation with well written accommodations and goals that make sense is worth investing in, as it saves a family grief, frustration, and heart ache of not being understood, or, having an evaluation with goals that don't help their child's team. Parents: sadly, teams don't listen to us! Find a psychologist they will listen to. I highly recommend Jessica both as a parent and a social worker who specializes in PDA. She will do your heavy lifting, explaining what needs explanation and do it with grace and intelligence.”

“I chose Dr. Myszak after doing lots of research and it was the right choice. I am a high-masking autistic female and I knew that finding the right provider to accurately assess me was important. The scheduling process was easy and I was able to do it all over email. I had the appointment on Zoom which was surprisingly comfortable and Dr. Myszak was very nice and made me feel like I could be completely myself. At the end I got a report with lots of information and other helpful resources. I felt like I could get answers to all of my questions and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a solid autism evaluation.”

“Dr. Jessica Myszak has a kind, calming energy that feels welcoming and comforting. She has over 10 years of experience in psychological assessment and has so much wisdom to offer her clients who have questions about autism, ADHD, or other neurodiversity. If you are looking for a psychological assessment in Glenview, IL, I strongly recommend her services.”

“We brought our son to Dr. Myszak recently; she was patient, flexible and kind and helped him feel comfortable. At first he was very anxious but she was willing to do whatever he needed to feel relaxed for his appointment so that he could do the different things he needed to for the assessment. By the time we left he really didn’t want to leave and was asking “if we could come back sometime.” The evaluation process was very thorough and she took her time not only gathering information but also answering questions and explaining things in a positive and encouraging way. We highly recommend her!”
