“I'm giving this a two-star review because I'm sure not all the therapists are bad but my first therapist quit and I did not have a notice until 3 weeks after. Then I was seeing Katrina and she eventually earned my trust but as soon as she earned my trust she lost it and I stopped seeing her right after she lost my trust. Literally tried putting me in the hospital because I told her I was not feeling the best. She knows I have trauma from hospitals and I am treatment resistant when it comes to hospitals. Then she threatened to call the police on me if I walked out of her office so I stopped seeing her because I don't trust her and just because I told her I was not feeling good does not mean I need to go to the hospital and I'm sorry but if that's how you run your therapy sessions I don't want to be a part of it. Luckily I have a new therapist through a different organization”

“No two mental health stories are the same, but they each require a level of accountability and honesty that few endeavors require. With that in mind, I've just begun my journey with Helen Wheeler. So far, I've met 3 of the staff, and they've been gentle and kind with me through every moment I've struggled through. Truly, it feels like a safe place to seek very delicate help. And, as of today, I feel like I have a team helping me to walk the path toward stable mental health. I couldn't have asked for more caring or understanding people.”

“The Receptionist at this place are rude and inconsiderate! I called to cancel an appointment I had with a counselor because I dislocated my shoulder and had to see a orthopedic surgeon . This receptionist was rude and was yelling at me, treating me like I was lying about my condition. I asked her what her issue was with me and why she always talks down to me in a rude and ignorant mannor and She had no comment, I told her she is not getting away with talking to a me that way and asked her name and she hung up on me. I am also filing a complaint on the front office receptionist area. This is a follow up On Helen Wheeler. The last few months have been going great with this particular receptionist, she did a complete turn around. She does reminder calls , she is so friendly and has an awesome personality. If I have a question I dont dread calling there and talking to her. I pray it stays this way.”

“If I could have given this place zero stars I would have. My son was put into day treatment for anxiety, I spoke to a representative here and they stated my son would be set up with a psychologist before the end of the treatment and he would have recommendations set. One month went by, still had not heard from them and still had not had my call returned. I finally was able to get in touch with someone via phone, and 1st the customer service was awful!!! 2nd - without even taking my name or information for my son they stated that I didn't have the correct insurance and that is why I wasn't receiving a call back.... I gave them no information, so how would they know what insurance I may or may not have??? When I asked to speak to a supervisor they told me she was out to lunch... at 2:30 in the afternoon???? needless to say I never received a call back. I will not be using this place, and I am filing complaints with the hospital, the state, and the BBB. This is inexcusable and I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with these people. Beware!”
