What patients say on Google

“Idk whats going on at this practice but do yourself a favor and look elsewhere or you will be looking again soon. Its a shame because Johnna Coleman was amazing. They dont answer the phone or respond to any messages/voicemails you leave unless you call repeatedly. In addition, when picking up medical release forms that took them 2 months to complete, I was also given another patients entire immunization record.”

“I’m so thankful I found Healthy Beginnings Pediatrics! From the moment you walk in, we felt completely cared for. The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely listens to your concerns. It’s rare these days to find a practice that not only provides excellent care but also truly understands and supports families with everything going on in the world. I finally feel like we’re in the right place!”

“Easy to get an appointment! Thought this was going to be a good office to receive my care. Unfortunately that's not the case. I came to get a work physical and first thing they couldn't find my paperwork that was faxed over. Then went to a room to wait for the doctor and had my vitals taken but the computer wasn't working so she had to leave and get a new one. Came back and told me he'd be right in................over an hour later I was like what's going on so I peeked out the door. Just to see all the employees relaxing talking and on their computers. One says oh are you going in to see him he's been in there quit a while. The Doctor then wanted to see me in a different room. So I had to move rooms good thing he came right in and started my work physical. By asking me do I feel like killing someone. No. He check my paperwork. And asked a few more questions and marked my paperwork. Then he got a phone call on his personal phone. Continued to answer phone call and start talking on phone not continuing with my physical. Me in shock that this is happening. He then leans over and taps paperwork to say I'm done. More shocked because I was only asked less then 20 questions. And vitals taken,to be finished. So I asked I'm done? He said yeah and basically shood me away and continues talking on his phone.I was so disappointed I just left and didn't make any other appointment. Very unprofessional. Forgets patients and disregards patients health.”

“Never have I ever had such a hard time contacting an office, the lack of professionalism is honestly appalling at this point. Moved both of my kids to this practice and I am very sorry that I did. I call, leave voicemails, just to never get a call back. They use text messages to communicate but can't ever pick up the phone to call someone back. This has happened multiple times. Because of their lack of ability to return calls, I had to wait until my newborn was an entire week old for her first pediatrician visit- which is totally unacceptable. Upon going to the visit her insurance wasn't active yet, so I said we'd be paying out of pocket. Lady at the front desk said it would be $150, okay. So we paid it. Next thing you know, weeks later, I get a bill in the mail for $100, saying that the visit was actually $250, and that we still owe $100. Absolutely not- we were told by their receptionist that it was $150 and for them to now try and say i didnt pay the full amount is sketchy. When I went back I was questioned about the balance and said basically that we never were told it was $250 and we paid what we were informed the total was, that day. The lady told me they'd see if insurance would pay it then. On top of it all, recently the woman who helped open the practice has stepped away due to shady things occurring with finances. As I stated before I wish I'd never switched my kids here, and now we're stuck until another pediatrician opens up. I cant believe they get away with this stuff and I drive an hour one way for this type of care, or lack thereof. The freedom of parental choice is a nice touch but doesnt mean much when this amount of unprofessionalism is present. If you want parental choice and much better care- go to Big Tree Peds down the road.”
