How likely are you to recommend Health in Mind?
“I recently attended Sound Healing with Julian J. Desta hosted by Health in Mind Counseling (HIM), and I must say it was a wonderful experience. This was my first time attending this type of event, so I have no other comparison; however, that does not minimize the impact of this experience. The event started with a warm welcome and introduction from Danielle Johnson (DJ), Clinical Director of HIM, who was knowledgeable and passionate about sound healing. The ambiance was soothing, with soft lighting and Julian playing gentle music as participants arrived. The environment created a serene and inviting experience, which I appreciated as I was unsure of what to expect. Since there was a few people new to the experience, Julian guided us through various techniques, including breathwork and visualization. He explained what we would experience and how the power of sound vibrations promote healing and relaxation. It was evident that he had a deep understanding of sound therapy and its benefits. The sound healing session itself was incredible. The vibrations from the gong, singing bowls, and the handpan drum resonated through my body, easing tension and promoting relaxation. I could feel the stress melting away as I closed my eyes and allowed the sounds to envelop me. I left feeling rejuvenated, balanced, and more centered. Overall, I highly recommend anytime HIM is hosting sound healing or any other wellness workshop, that you go check it out for yourself. Whether you’re a seasoned sound healing enthusiast or a curious beginner, their events are worth attending. Thank you, DJ and Julian, for creating such a positive and nurturing space!”
