What patients say on Google
“If you are in need of services, this is the place you should go to! The staff is so kind and understanding.”
“It was hands down the absolute best experience I've ever had, no contest. Leslie is amazing & Dr. Hina Smith together, make you feel so at home & so caring!”
“I have been hesitant to leave this review, but after repeated issues with my care, I feel it is important to share my experience. Throughout my time as a patient of Dr. Smith, I repeatedly felt unheard and dismissed. She frequently did not remember what medication I was taking, and I had to remind her during appointments. During both in-person and telehealth sessions, she would text or work on her computer while I was speaking, which made me feel as though she was barely listening to what I was saying. One appointment was particularly upsetting. I was discussing serious concerns, and instead of feeling heard or supported, I was told that I shouldn’t be worrying about the things I expressed to her. She spoke more than listening to my concerns and was dismissive. I left that appointment feeling significantly worse than when I arrived. Unfortunately, leaving appointments feeling unheard became a recurring experience for me. My biggest concern, however, has been the repeated difficulty obtaining prescription refills. Nearly every month, I have had to call or message multiple times to get my prescription sent in. This month, I have once again reached zero pills and still do not have my refill. On another occasion, the office closed for more than a week without adequate notice or ensuring that patients had access to necessary prescription refills. For someone receiving mental health treatment, continuity of medication can be extremely important. Having to repeatedly chase a provider for medication that I rely on is unacceptable and has made me feel unsafe in her care. I gave this provider multiple opportunities because changing mental health providers is not always easy, but I can no longer overlook this pattern. I need a provider who listens during appointments, knows my treatment plan, takes my concerns seriously, and can be relied upon to manage prescriptions responsibly. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience with Dr. Smith.”
