What patients say on Google

“My experience in Haven Behavioral Hospital was great. Haven Behavioral Hospital is a good place to be in terms of safety, psychotherapy treatment, patient satisfaction management, and integrated behavioral health services. Doctor Miguel Aguilo-Seara is an outstanding psychiatrist, who knowledgeable about helping patients and students. Not to mention, but the social services team which includes the social workers and the therapists are wonderful and their coordination with nurses is amazing. Therefore, I am thrilled to do this review.”

“Do not send your loved one to this facility. The attitude of certain staff members is atrocious. Specifically, the social worker was incredibly rude and made it very clear she had zero interest in doing her job. I have no idea why anyone would choose to become a social worker when they completely lack kindness or pleasant bedside manner. In the few phone calls I had returned to try to get information about my loved one having a healthcare crisis, she made it clear she couldn’t be bothered. I even got a voicemail message with cursing where she said “don’t call me no more, I don’t work for you.” That was in response to trying to coordinate discharge care. Upon discharge, we had no outpatient program setup, no resources given and the follow up appointment she said she made turned out to be untrue. We were on our own to find any post discharge care. With that said, a few nurses, including Shauna and Brandy, were incredibly caring and wonderful. Thank goodness for them because they made her stay tolerable as she recovered.”

“This facility is disgusting, the staff is the worse. It’s about insurance and no shame about it. Your loved one WILL BE WORST most likely. The place is filthy, patients urinating through the common areas, the doctor comes and make rounds at 6:30 or 7:00am when the patients are groggy and medicated. We are doing our best to exposed this place and will continue to contact any and all media. The seniors are confused and need advocates. The nursing staff are very unprofessional and extremely lazy ( except for the aids of course) They make you feel horrible to even asked them for water, they mock and laugh at the patients. Dr. Seara has NO SHAME AS A HUMAN BEING let alone a doctor. IT’s ALL ABOUT THE INSURANCE MONEY. This place WILL BE EXPOSED FOR WHAT IT IS!!! THE outside of the facility is very attractive. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOU FAMILY MEMBER HERE!!! THIS PLACE MUST AND WILL BE EXPOSED…Trust me!!!”

“Do not send your loved ones here. They only got one star.. wanted to give them none. The don’t communicate. Don’t answer the phone . Hang up on you. It’s sad and cold and sterile and they treat their patients poorly. We’ve been trying to find out answers for days… no communication from nurses docs or social work. It’s like a prison!..taking her home one way or another tonight! Oh and don’t forget about the roaches! Disgusting”
