What patients say on Google

“What can I say about this office? I haven't actually been there myself. My older son was just recently diagnosed there. From what I was told, it seems that two out of three of the doctors seem to be caring enough about their patients. They took their time and explained the diagnosis, how it works and recommended resources to help us financially with him as well as education-wise. On the other hand, upon calling in the case of an emergency, I would not be very trusting in the courtesy of the receptionist staff there, as they seem to be slightly rude and a bit un-caring when it comes to getting medication refilled. I had to call back a few times to get certain on the appointment time due to the fact that my son was about to run out of medication and it required for him to have a follow up in order for him to receive his meds over the weekend. And that appointment had to be rescheduled. I had to double check to be sure of when it could be scheduled as part of the previous agreement for getting his Rx refilled. I ended up having to call 3 or four times to be sure that his medication would be filled, however, as no one bother to mention the doctor who originally prescribed his medication was not there that Friday, and he would need his meds at least by sat or sun morning the latest. Upon rescheduling the follow-up appointment, I was spoken to rudely and actually had been yelled at. It seemed that they were annoyed that I had to call to reschedule that appointment and seemed as if they didn't want me to. I can't help that these people have gotten a job where their main job is to answer the phone. Again, I am grateful for the doctors on staff and whichever receptionists have spoken to me kindly. If you have an emergency with a last-minute refill, be careful upon having to reach them if need be, as they tend to drop the ball upon reaching your doctor and seem to not want to be courteous toward you.”

“I have been trying to schedule an appointment for over a month. They won’t even call to schedule it. I submitted the paperwork and they didn’t call to tell me they need more paperwork. I had to call and ask about the appointment and was then told. I sent over the records and they still haven’t call me back weeks later. I have waited months to be seen by a doctor before but never months just to get a phone call to schedule. I called today to ask about the appointment and was told they would need to call me back. I think they can treat people like this because they don’t have a lot of options for places to go. They don’t provide a good customer experience.”

“Super nice if you have money. If you don't, they will just waste your time, gas, and energy. I agree with several people. Mental health places should help, not make things worse. People who are seeking help go somewhere else. I feel that this experience was designed to hurt me. Show me what I could get my child, if I wasn't fighting for disability. Currently unemployed for well over a year. They told me that the hundreds of dollars in this appointment was not covered by any insurance company but it was optional. Then comes around time to discuss the test results they came up with......they cancelled it....because I don't have almost $300. Can't go any further with treatment. Which just makes them seem money hungry. And I'm only writing this review in hopes it helps at least one person. Although if you have money, I'm sure they will take good care of you. Mental health matters but only when you can afford it. At this place anyway. I'm going to keep trying til I find a place that wants to actually help.”

“I was told it could be difficult to get scheduled. The process was straight forward and had at max 1 month wait beforefirst appointment. I was given paperwork for the school and myself to complete. My Initial visit was with Dr. Snook, he went over some general questions, performed physical exam and reviews the process to come. The assessment appointments were conducted without reviewing paperwork so they could evaluate without a biased expectation. Mrs. Jordan was very friendly and charming with my son. Dr. Morgan was straight forward on the process and covered her findings very well. The final review was very thorough with all parties. I feel they cared about their patient and extremely helpful.”
