“I was here in 2020 and stayed about a week, the place fore the adults was nice had a roo to myself with no roommates which was good. The had a sensory room for adults and asked to go in there cause one if the patients there was screaming and throwing things causing me to go into a meltdown judt like covering my ears and stuff I asked to go in cause i wasnt liking the noise and the staff was kind enough to let me be in there until things settle down. There was this one nurse who was with me when I was ready to be picked up I cant remember his name but he also enjoyed My hero academia when I told him about it so that made my day. Im just one of the few wbo enjoyed being here to get away from it all.”

“Hey there guys! I've been calling and leaving messages and no one wants to call me back. My son needs a referral to gibault and you're the only ones able to do it! When will you start taking responsibility for your patients? I need someone to contact me, sooner rather than later”

“Do not send your loved ones here!!! My 20 yr old daughter was sent here by Goshen Hospital because she had the Flu and apparently not one institution or hospital in Elkhart or surrounding counties could take her because of the Flu. She was sent there even when we expressed concerns for transportation is almost a 4 hr drive from Elkhart they promised that someone will contact me to make sure someone will be there to pick her up for discharge but it never happened. We called and they said she was discharged mind you she was almost 4 hrs away from home diagnosed as Schizophrenic with no cell phone, no money or any identification on her because we had her belongings. I had to call the police to check in on her because they would not provide any information on her just that she was discharged. This facility is trash and they do not care for anyone at all. I had to call the police to check if she was outside the facility waiting for someone or did she wonder off because they did not call themselves or provide a phone for her to call .Well turns out the facility sent her home with staff . FYI my brother-in-law who was also schizophrenic got discharged from a mental facility over 20 yrs ago and he was never seen again let that sink in Harsha !!! Parents and loved worry because of these kinds of situations you and your staff need to have more empathy and communicate like you promised from the beginning.”

“Good luck trying to reach your loved ones, constant lack of communication. Nobody answers phone and voice mail boxes left full, so no messages can be left. If I could leave 0 stars I certainly would. Again having to use this facility and no response from anyone, about medical questions no less. Ignore their fluffy response and take your loved ones elsewhere because this is completely unnerving to deal with.”
