What patients say on Google

“Gulf Coast has been there for me for multiple years. The staff, usually is very empathetic. There has only been one issue. The ACT team are an amazing group of individuals. They work hard, are special people. Please do not listen to all the slander. I would like to thank the many women, and men that have helped. God bless ya'll especially as I am going through stage 5 brittle brain bone marrow cancer treatment, along with uterine cancer treatment and breast cancer treatment. Patience is a virtue as my daughter, Jules, has always said. She's my mentor and my Godmother, my inspiration. Trust that I along with my domestic partner love each other. Thank God for all that you do.”

“I have an appointment for 1:00pm and another one for a different doctor at another facility at 12:00pm. The 1:00pm to draw blood and to see my doctor, i can get very dizzy and lightheaded if I don't get anything to eat; they told me I can wait for a "no show" in the morning I said cool, today they told me my appointment is for 3:00pm, I said I cant wait for that long without for food. I told them to reschedule. The first time I went up here I let them know I have a service dog that is in training, my professional dog trainer and I have been training him for a year, they said no dogs allowed then ask me for proof, right after that there was an ESA dog walking around trying to get in my purse.”

“Ive been here twice and both times were hands down the best treatment ive had for detoxing. They are down to earth, dont judge, work with you, truly care, and it was just a great program that offered further treatment plans as well like inpatient rehab that is funded so doesnt cost you anything regardless of having health insurance or not. I did the outpatient detox until a bed was available in one of the inpatient treatment facilities and that took no more than 6 days I believe. And they gave me suboxone for those 6 days so I wasnt sick and detoxed comfortably at home. So once inpatient was ready for me, I was already physically detoxed. Its a great program.”

“My sister came for help, she needed that help, counselor said she was busy and she would call her next day, she never called. This is very upsetting, it was difficult for me to get my sister to reach out for help. No words.”
