How likely are you to recommend Greywood Health Center?
What patients say on Google
“We returned to Greywood because we’ve seen real progress and improvement in my teen’s mood and behavior. There is a noticeable difference in their approach compared to another PHP we’ve experienced. The staff we’ve encountered have been professional, kind, considerate, and responsive. I truly feel that they care about my teen and his well-being. Ellysia was an excellent therapist, and Lexi has been amazing as well. It makes such a difference to have a good therapist, and we’ve been fortunate to have that level of care and support here. Ryan, a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner is professional and kind. During our intake appointment, he really took the time to listen. We never felt rushed. He also takes the time to thoroughly discuss and verify medications, listens to my input, and checks in regularly, which I truly appreciate. Overall, I feel at ease knowing my teen is in good care at Greywood”
“I have experience with treatment centers, hospitals, and individual providers in three countries. This is the first facility that categorically failed to A)provide a safe space for me B)had no way of helping me with my symptoms. An unsafe environment was created by a combination of inappropriate and asocial behavior on the part of a select few fellow patients and categorical staff failure to attend to my pleas for support while being extremely triggered. After trying to remain for treatment I experienced repeated in-group/out-group dynamics, I experienced criticism and even dismissal by certain staff during groups and I was treated like a problem for having an anger response. My individual therapist and group therapists did nothing to help me and instead kicked me out when I eventually had open anger. I came to this place with diagnoses and symptoms clearly known to staff, including the possibility of anger (not surprising with my history and the treatment I received). The problem here is that quiet, socially permissable symptoms will be treated but act out and you're out. If you have anger symptoms, do NOT go to Greywood. You are liable to be treated like a problem and removed without being given adequate (or any) help with your symptoms. I was called by the program director from his car on the way home from work, with his wife in the car. He did not send me references, he did not give me a clinical assessment at the end. Nothing...just 'bye'. And when I pointed out that his manner in kicking me out was cold, he laughed. I truly hope you, if you decide to go to Greywood, have a better experience than me because mine cost me months and nerves and resilience and confidence because the program stressed me out but provided inadequate attention and care. I hope you do not experience the open dislike and dismissal by supposedly professional staff. I would also like to point out that I was not the only individual removed from the program for anger during my time there. The bottom line there is making money and you can't make money if people leave and people might leave if someone is struggling with anger. And here Greywood decides to remove the anger as opposed to treating it and letting those who cannot deal with it leave or learn to cope, as individuals do in ordinary life. We don't just abandon each other. Well, Greywood will, so be careful. This is a business and you may not be the desired customer.”
“I was a former patient at Greywood Health Center, where I participated in the teen program. This program truly changed my life. Before coming to Greywood, I felt hopeless and had lost my will to keep going. But after completing the 12-week program, I left with a renewed sense of purpose, a stronger outlook on life, and lifelong friends who continue to support me. I highly recommend Greywood Health Center—things can get better, but you have to be willing to put in the work, and it’s worth it.”
“I now enjoy the moment to moment experience of every day life, after 10 years of drinking and eating myself just about to death. The worst part about Greywood was the realization of the years of suffering I cannot get back, but even still, it’s now easy to sit with and accept that truth and begin to enjoy the present and future. I’m not a spiritual person, but I pray to god and the universe that as many people find this place as possible before giving up. To the Greywood staff, thank you for your hard work. The help you give people is divine; may your souls glide through your current and next lifetimes with prosperity and ease.”
