How likely are you to recommend Greenbrook Mental Wellness Centers?
What patients say on Google
“Spravato has been key to the improvement in my mental health. Dr. Sussal and his excellent staff - Eli, Alyson, Kelly - are skillful and efficient, and always kind. I feel safe and well taken care of at each visit. I highly recommend their services.”
“I came here (Greenbelt office) for Spravato treatment. I have no complaints about the way it was administered and some of the staff seemed a little scatter brained but friendly. My major issue was the doctor overseeing the treatment, Dr. Sussal. He comes off as arrogant, has a condescending tone of voice, and it felt like he took it personally when I voiced concerns about his treatment plan. He often cut me off when I was talking and more than once he abruptly ended a conversation, left the room, and someone else came in to give additional information. He seemed to think his opinion should override that of my regular psychiatrist, who I've been seeing for over two years. I've never used the word "childish" to describe a doctor but I can't think of a more fitting description. You couldn't pay me to go back and put up with him.”
“I went through copious amounts of paperwork, chased for care only to be told I wasn't eligible for Spravato. A bunch of time, wasted. Would not recommend. Go with their competitors.”
“Insufficient monitoring and followup makes this place and Lifespan Behavioral Health Services - the associated therapy office - seem unprofessional. The TMS provided here hurts (it shouldn't) and causes spasms when the pulses are placed in the wrong position. The pain happens frequently for many minutes duration due to understaffing. One person is trying to take care of multiple people. One of the techs leaves patients in their chairs and doesn't check on them. I've been to multiple session where the machine was in the wrong place and I was left alone in pain. I said something to the tech - but it happened again and again. The doctor in charge rarely shows up even for scheduled telehealth appointments. I don't think the doctor knows that patients are left in pain and unmonitored. However, the doctor must know that the telehealth system the company uses - doxyme - doesn't work. I'm not sure this place meets all the requirements it should in order to claim to reliably provide evidence-based medical services. It doesn't do what it says it will.”
