“I’ve been a patient with Greenbrook TMS for close to 10 years now. I’ve done both r/TMS and Spravato. I didn’t respond to the first, but the second very likely saved my life. Esketamine is an amazing medication for TRD. The staff has always been amazing here in Charlottesville, VA. The rooms are private, quiet, and comfortable. They always have drinks and snacks available. I had a few insurance hangups, but that isn’t entirely their fault. Without hesitation, I would recommend these two locations to anyone interested!”

“I had a horrible experience T this center during the Spravato treatment that I get now every other week as a maintanance treatment . There is no medical licensed professional physically in the clinic during the treatment . The closest medical licensed professional is in the same building but not in the clinic itself and he is unavailable during a crisis situation like I experienced during this treatment because he’s treating other patients to in his own clinic which is separate from Greenbrook. It took over an hour to get him to see me for about 30 seconds after I. Experienced severe side effects from the treatment . No one provided me with a call button I. Case of an emergency , since I’m incapacitated during treatment and I had to tell multiple times to get a front office worker who has no medial training or license to come in. She promised to call the doctor in charge , Dr Benjamin Stephens , but he was occupied with seeing other patients in HIS clinic and couldn’t come until well over an hour since my call for help . No one checked my BP either during this crisis not even when the doctor finally arrived although I suffer from high blood pressure and this treatment is known to elevate blood pressure levels even under normal circumstances which these have been way outside the normal range. When Dr Stephens finally arrived , well over an hour during this time I was left alone in the room , with no supervision, no help and incapacitated, undergoing a severe panic and anxiety attack . I could have had a stroke or a heart attack not to mention the terrible mental and psychological suffering I underwent during this very prolonged time . When finally Dr Stephens arrived he asked what happened , I responded that I had a terrible panic attack which is still ongoing . He responded by saying g that he sees I’m doing better and that he has to leave to attend to his other patients . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE . I cannot emphasize it enough . There is no medical supervision in the clinic and no medically trained personnel that can respond appropriately in time of crisis , when a treatment goes wrong like in my case .”
