How likely are you to recommend GREATER CANTON PSYCHIATRY, LLC?
What patients say on Google
“I debated posting a review because I never actually made it to see the provider but I feel as though the business practices here are bordering on negligence and incompetence. They scheduled me as a new patient, and then called back saying that they can’t take patients who were prescribed Klonopin. Why are patients punished for being prescribed medication? Why can you refuse services to patients because of this? I told them I no longer take that prescription. They later called back again to tell me that they will only help me if I don’t use medical marijuana, which I use legally under medical supervision for chronic pain. Again, why are we allowed to refuse to help people because of this? They didn’t ask me if I drink alcohol, which is interesting because alcohol actually has more severe interactions with my medications than anything else. There is an obvious bias and double standard here. When you go to the emergency room, they have to treat you regardless of what drugs you use, what medications you take, or your history with treatment. It is an ethical duty. The standard should be the same for behavioral health— either you want to help people or you dont, and you’ve made it clear that you don’t. Please reconsider these policies. They create barriers in an already hard to access area of healthcare. 2,000,000 Ohioans suffer with mental illness. We live in a professional shortage zone. Policies like these are discriminatory and harmful.”
“I recently visited the office and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and professional, and the office was clean and welcoming. Sherin was attentive, listened to my concerns, and explained everything clearly. The appointment was on time, and I felt well-cared for. I’d recommend this practice to anyone looking for quality care!”
“Website says they help people of all ages but the woman who answered the phone told me they don't see patients over 50 yrs old. And that's fine but be honest with the info you're putting out”
“I had an incredibly positive experience with Dr. Heidi during my treatment for depression. From our first session she created a warm, non-judgmental space where I felt truly heard and understood. Her expertise helped me navigate some of my darkest moments and make meaningful progress.”
