What patients say on Google

“Dr Tomas has been my doctor sense I was in 6th grade. She always has listened to my concerns. We have tried a few different medications and some of them gave me bad reactions and we’ve tried other stuff to see if that would help. I am bipolar. There’s a family history of bipolar. I have really bad anxiety and I’m also ADHD. I’ve been with her for so many years I graduated in 2019 so it’s now 2024 and I have been with her that long. I feel like she listens to my concerns and changes my medicine when need be or gives me tips and tricks how to get out of an anxiety attack. She is really been a blessing and I refuse to change doctors, even though I’m having to pay out of pocket to see her. She’s really helped me through a lot and I feel like she has a lot of knowledge. Also, a lot of psych meds also help with seizures so if you have medicine and you look it up and it says seizures, you may want to look up what it does for.. Really enjoy her as a doctor and I feel like I’m heard and cared for and she listened to my parents heard them when I was younger.”

“Waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes, only to be taken back to her office to wait another 30 minutes where a staff member of hers kept interrupting the appointment. In total, she probably talked to me for like 29 minutes when the appointment should’ve been an hour. Complete disregard for the wellbeing of patients”

“Dr. Thomas is an absolute quack! She only met with me for 20 MINUTES and misdiagnosed me as bipolar because of my temporary sleep schedule. She prescribed me an epilepsy medication and even discontinued the treatment program that I’d been on for years. Her reason was that she “didn’t feel comfortable” prescribing me the same medication I’ve been taking for 20 years although SHE signed off on the same medicines TWICE through her nurse practitioner in the past 6 months. I hoped the other reviews saying she misdiagnosed people with astounding frequency were exaggerations. But, they are 100% true. It seems she will construe anything you say (even if it’s small talk) to fit the diagnosis she WANTS you to have. This usually happens when the physician gets large kickbacks from the pharmaceutical company. In Dr. Thomas’ case, I genuinely believe it’s because she’s an uncaring & incompetent doctor who abuses her patients under the guise of a medical license that should be revoked.”

“This doctor helped a very close relative of mine when it seemed no other doctor could. She is very knowledgeable and compassionate. These two qualities healed my relative. My relative did say they wished the doctor had a patient portal. But as far as being a help to her patients, she is great! Also knowledgeable about diet, vitamins, and supplements that help emotional well being and willing to go that route when needed..”
