“I love my psychiatrist, but the front desk, billing staff, etc is so rude! They barely answer the phone and when they do, the attitudes are terrible! You work with people with mental health issues, have some compassion or find another job. And don’t worry about getting a phone call back for anything, might as well just go in person for everything.”
“The actual providers are excellent, thorough, and caring. The local (Anniston) staff are great as well. The problem is all of their phones route to the main office in Birmingham for everything. Trying to make appointments or get a refill is an absolute nightmare unless you have access to a direct chat with your provider or physically go to the local office. Otherwise you might end up running out of medication and have a week+ before getting a refill sent.”
“Very negative experience in lack of Professionalism from this establishment. Last year I waited over two hours to see my psych doctor and I left when there was about 15 minutes until closing because I didn’t feel like paying for a freaking visit and only getting 15 minutes worth of her time. And now I have been trying to get them to mail my medical records to my primary care physician so that I can get the care I need and they refuse to give the medical records to me until the dr signs off on them. But guess what? That doctor won’t be in for another week! Same one that was late for our session. 0/5 if I could leave it. Oh their automatic phone assistant is broken too so you can’t request medical records over the phone either.”
“I’d give a 0 if I could. And I wish I had the name of the receptionist. Obviously this place doesn’t care about how their staff treat the patients. To call about appointments after a month of waiting after 2 referrals were placed, to be cut off every time I try to speak, and told “no we won’t help, you need to keep waiting or go to the ER.” She would not let me explain anything. And hung up on me the first chance she got. And the receptionist asked for my doctors number in Jacksonville to “call them to tell them they are giving false information that we actually don’t help as soon as possible and it’s whoever gets sent to us first, not by priority”. Well no need to call, they won’t be sending their patients to an unreliable business where mental health doesn't actually matter… If you need real help. DONT rely on this place no matter how many people tell you they are the best. Nope. Don’t even waist your time. Because that’s all that will happen if you’ve already been waiting. Waiting some more. And a very unprofessional attitude the moment the phone is answered.”
