“I see Dr. D and she is wonderful, I have been praying she would completely leave this practice and go somewhere else so I can continue to see her. The office staff is ungodly awful. My wife has called a total of 17 times in the last 3 months, left messages for my appointments, tried to get me more meds and has NEVER received a call back. They called her 1 time (mind you I have had over 5 appointments now) to confirm and she said okay so why can you call me now but not when my husband needs medication or an appointment and she just said she has no idea she doesn’t deal with that… but your calling to confirm my APPOINTMENT. There’s a specific lady everytime at the front and my wife was not being rude just asking a couple questions about billing and insurance and she was so disgusting to her I had to step in and talk because my wife was so upset she left the building refusing to come back in. Just recently, icing on the cake, back in January we had a couples appointment and it was a blizzard so my wife called to see what time it was at and to request video or reschedule. Never answered (shocker) and never called her back after 5 calls and voicemails. We got a call for my charges from appointments no big deal, they said they were going to cancel if I didn’t pay, so I paid. Just got a bill in the mail and see I was charge $50 for a no call no show on the day of the blizzard. Needless to say my wife is pissed, way more than me because I work so she is always taking care of things which I deeply appreciate and always has to deal with them. She has been quiet since the last altercation with the front lady but now I don’t think she can stop the words that she will say when she demands a supervisor on Monday.”
“Edit to update: I may have owed the $95, but I did not receive a single call back. Still have yet to receive a statement at this time. The care I received here was phenomenal. If it was just the provider Sam, this would be an entirely different story. I am writing here because they are not returning my calls and my 4 voicemails and 2 emails feel like screaming into the void. I paid a bill for $146.73 on 11/6/25 over the phone to settle my account. I then received a statement for $95 with "Last claim denied due to a lapse in coverage" written in red pen on it. I told my provider this over our last telehealth appt that I would be losing my coverage and she said she would communicate that to the office. I understand miscommunication happens, but I do not think I will return to this office for medication management because he stress of dealing with the office negates any positive benefits I had had.”
“I'\nVe had pretty good luck at the mirror ville office staff with only one problem person there.. I love my doctor d and my therapist Darcy.Well, now, d is moving to valpo. And I have heard nothing but horror stories , horror stories of people not being able to get through this is my biggest fear!. Being\n On anxiety, medicine and only taking it as prescribed and not wanting to run out and make sure it's ready each time. I'm deathly afraid of the valpa office. I hear Nothing but bad. Bad bad things about it. If they don't answer the call for 3 days. And my prescription is due 1 day ago I will go into severe severe panic attacks I always do at the least bit of differentiation, that's why I am scared to death and scared to death and I wish she was staying With us and mayorville i'm so afraid”
“I have been with him for about 13 years now. And he has listened and talked through and being so patient even at my worst. He can see things I don’t.( honestly, that is hard to do. I am so self-aware it’s painful.) and has never judge me, but has earnestly tried to point me in the right direction. At my worst, he saved me. But it never has wavered by my side. People on here that dance around and feel judgment towards him. Give him time. And if you can all be self-aware of where you’re at. He’s right there with you. And even if you’re not self-aware. Just give him all your honesty. He’s the best thing we have in Northwest Indiana by far. Even as I go through my ups and downs and tribulations with mental emotional and physical health , he’s my number one emergency contact Trust me, I have questioned him, I have pushed back on some ideas, I have to him everything I feel, , i have spoke my voice and my concerns. And we always work it out. You work with him he works with you. I have at some point had to get on top of them for preapproval or everything. But that was years ago! I find it running much more smoothly. They’re always great to me. I give them kindness and patience and they return. They greet me with the smile every time I greet them with a smile But things can’t happen automatically. We are all advocates for our own health, but the doctors in the office have procedure. They have to go through. And if you’re feeling ignored, leave a message and say just that. I’m feeling ignored. They are great staff and will accommodate. Just talk to them. And they have a process they have to go through”
