“The lobby is decorated to be both inviting & comfortable. The receptionist was welcoming & friendly. The wait time was very short. The Nurse Practitioner was amazing- she seemed to genuinely care & took a long time with me as a new patient. Her private office was also welcoming, and as a bonus, it has a window which helps lighten the mood during difficult therapy. Overall, it was a very pleasant first experience & I will be going back.”

“I’m so tired of this place honestly. I had my first appointment on 12/30 which went amazing. Everything was worked through so nicely and coming in by myself as a young adult I was nervous and they helped calm my nerves and reassure me. Staff told me that they would call me within 2-3 business days to schedule a follow up test so I can get medicated. I figured since new years was 2 days ahead, the call may be delayed but I didn’t expect to never received the call. On 01/08 I called them trying to figure out why I never received a call and I just wanted to schedule a follow up. They were understanding and apologized for never calling, claiming they didn’t have my recommendation from the provider I saw, and once they receive those they will call back within 2 days again. 2 days passed and no call, I waiting figuring they are busy but still nothing. I called AGAIN on 01/15 and they said that they still haven’t received anything and will call back. I FINALLY received a call back later that day saying they will call me back tomorrow the 16th before 4pm to schedule a follow up. Guess what, the call never happened. At this point I’m more than happy to see another provider, I am just really annoyed about this whole process. I am a young adult trying to finally get medicated for something I’ve dealt with my whole life and it’s just delay after delay. The staff is friendly and great here though so there’s that! But I’m just annoyed.”

“I had 2 appointments here with the same provider. I've been on psych medication 30 years and have seen a variety of providers. I'm not impressed with Geode in park ridge. The provider wasn't a good listener, didn't ask me much about myself and my symptoms. She seemed to be more focused on herself and her general knowledge. She was very clear from the beginning that she would be making changes to my meds without any input from me. What the heck?? Changed my diagnosis also based on the meds they want to prescribe. I'd look elsewhere. It's really a tragedy that we don't have more knowledgeable and caring psychiatrists anymore.”

“This is an actual doctor who makes decisions in people’s lives, she showed up 10 mins late. I thought she was going to help me. She asked targeted questions for a workers comp claim. She was unprofessional the entire time, treated me like a criminal. Made unjust accusations of me abusing medication that I had not even picked up from the pharmacy. She is a horrible person, don’t ever use her for anything. I had multiple exams for the same issue, she was by far the worst and she pretty much begged the insurance company for more biz at the end of it. I wouldn’t send my own kids to her, she’s awful and I hope she never gets the chance to destroy a person’s life again. TRASH”
