What patients say on Google
“Being a former patient here, I can most defenitly say that this place was a nightmare. A employee with the first name Jeremy could have cared less about my well being. I am prone to seizures, he would turn on the bright lights in the morning not giving a damn about giving any kind of warning. When I tried to confront him about it he said "whatever" and hid back in the glass booth. When I went to tell a different employee Jeremy stepped in he said " hey man we can talk like men". In my eyes if he wanted to talk like men he wouldnt have went and hid behind the glass. As soon as he said that the original employee i went to report him too kept telling me to calm down as i was still explaining what happened. I was furious and got thrown in lock box by choice just to avoid the workers. After this experience I avoided all of the workers besides the social workers WHICH WERE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND SWEET. In my opinion they need more professional "nurses"/employees that actually care about the patients. Had some good exeperiences in this facility but one employee turned it all to hell for me and i hope he will be shown this and fired.”
“Ok I gave myself a couple weeks to calm down before I wrote this. I rated this 2 stars because I’m being honest there were a handful of good employees, unfortunately there were more that needed to be fired then there were that deserved to keep there jobs. Brittany or Ashley, Roberta and a couple directors I spoke with were good. While Sylvia and D and some others make me scared for anyone’s family member that goes there. So my fiancée got put in here on a Friday about 1:46 pm I can to visitation sat at 2:00 and they tried to tell me she hadn’t been there 24 hrs yet so couldn’t have visitors I had to explain to them how time worked to prove she had. That was the start of my experience. I called to find out what she was aloud to have they told me no hoodies shoes with laces and no socks no vapes (but they can have cigarettes makes no sense give people there something they can harm themselves with. Come to find out they could have socks and long sleeved shirts the intake ladies I spoke with lied. Then they told me to have her sign herself in not come in under pink slip which I found out from the director they should have not offered her bc that will keep you longer. During visitation the nurse left us locked in the visitation area for approx 12 min unsupervised which they are not about to do but she wanted her cigarette. The intake ladies take cigarette breaks about every 30 min smoking right by the doors. But they say they are short handed even though at one time I counted 2 on break and 6 outside smoking. While I was in the phone with her one guy went into insulin issue and begged nurse for his meds and she laughed. They kept getting otp and disconnecting us. Someone tried to hang themselves if it wasn’t for a patient they would have succeeded. The nurse D (devotee) smoked his weed cart outside by patients. Nurses screamed at someone because someone else left a chair in the hall. Scariest thing is they are not even checked one patient had a cell phone hidden and my fiencee still had her belly button ring and her industrial piercing which could have been used to hurt themselves. Another paitent had seizures and they couldn’t find a nurse for over 10 min. This place needs to be more throughly checked on. Joint commission needs to step in.”
“I could write a book on how horrific my two week "incarceration" was at this hell hole. If you want to be yelled at, disrespected, ignored or treated like a dog, this is the place to be. Go see miss B. The facilities were very clean. The general staff was quite cordial but the morning supervisor went out of her way to make sure you knew she thought you were garbage. There were multiple times I've had eyes rolled at me and multiple times that i've overheard staff talking about the patients and each other. I could go on but this is more of a psa than a sob story. Make sure you do your research if you get the chance. Obviously someone was in the other wing. Or a ghost writer. How could that be anymore opposite than my statement. You got lucky girl.”
“My stay at BHC was not as bad as some of these reviews suggest. They provided me with the medication I needed, three meals a day plus snacks before bedtime. Medication was provided before bedtime, and two people in a room with a bathroom and shower. Water was always available to drink. They had a recreation area where you can watch tv or play board games. They also had plenty of books available to read. I just can’t say much bad about my stay in generations. They helped save my life.”
