What patients say on Google
“I spent just over 3 weeks in this facility and then another week later on. The BHA staff is excellent. These are the people the patients deal with the most. They are genuinely good people who are there because they care. I have no issue at all with the BHAs. The nursing staff is mostly good. There are a couple nurses who seem ill-suited for the job, but most of the nurses are great! The providers are another story. There are two doctors; Dr. Master and Dr. Aucker. Aucker has never met a problem that can't be medicated. I saw him three times and he upped my meds every time. Below the doctors are the physician's assistant and the nurse practitioners. These are the people who see the patients every day. Two of them, Michelle PA and Tim CRNP, are both excellent and kind, caring people, but Duncan CRNP, is unpleasant, ill-humored, insecure, and petty. He was the reason I left AMA It's a solid four and a half stars without Duncan, but only three if he's seeing a third of the patients. He's genuinely bad for peoples' mental health.”
“One of their workers-Chris- is literally awful. He needs to be fired, has been complained about multiple times so far. Everyone else is amazing”
“Wish I could give this place 10 stars! This facility is brand new, very clean and well designed. All of the staff were great, very professional and therapeutic.”
“I get to be the first review omg! I was admitted on Opening Day and it was really stressful. While staff probably couldn't have handled it any better than they did that first day, in some cases certain things did get lost in translation. Even so, they did their absolute best with us during the time there. The Psychiatrist they have on staff, Dr. Masters, really does listen to the patients and accommodates where he can. I, personally, have issues with men and he was kind enough to allow one of the nurses to sit in with us while we spoke about my discharge. (Shout Out To Laura*) The staff on hand at all times are kind, caring, and helpful (when they actually know the information of something). * Laura was one of my favorite nurses as she was super sweet. She never really treats you like a full patient, more like a friend and it honestly felt amazing. She did her best to explain some common side effects and how long they last for the medication I started. She honestly convinced me to give my meds a genuine chance and I'm really hoping they work for me. Laura deserves a raise, no clue what she's making now but she deserves one anyway. If you're thinking about going in for a Voluntary Admission, give the staff some leniency early on! They're trying there best with the new systems and layouts. After all, they did just open on the 5th. So if there's still no soap in the dispensers or they miss a scheduled item by a few minutes, cut them all some slack. - Finley (P.S. If any of the first three other members find this feel free to contact me! I wanna keep in contact with you three!)”
