How likely are you to recommend Future Psych Solutions?
“I am a PA student and had the opportunity to complete my Behavioral Medicine rotation with Dr. DuBose at Future Psych Solutions. Dr. DuBose is an amazing teacher not only to me but to the patients as well. He takes the time to explain to make sure I understand as a future provider and the patient understands in order to come up with the best treatment options. I had great experiences with all the providers there. While sitting in on sessions, I could tell each provider truly does care for everyone of their patients. Each provider takes the time to form an individualized plan/agreement with the patients. From the moment I entered the building, the entire staff was always very welcoming. I would definitely recommend Future Psych Solutions to anyone, students looking for a rotation site or someone looking for help with mental health.”
“Juanita is the GOLDEN standard of care at Future Psych! I am always happy to walk in and see her smiling face. She is kind, caring, friendly, compassionate and remembers all my little quirks. She is a perfect stick with the iv every time and when it comes to my anxiety with needles it's comforting to know she will be my nurse. She is not afraid to hold my hand if I start to have a panic attack during treatment and reassure until I'm calm again then ask if I'm ok to keep going. After my treatments she doesn't just walk me to the door or leave me at the top of the steps but rather walks me to my rides vehicle or to the person giving me a ride. It is clear that whatever it is Juanita is doing she goes above and beyond for her patients and should not only be applauded but awarded for spectacular care every time. Thank you Juanita.”
“Doctor Selina McKinney is the best. She truly cares about her clients and listen to you. I’m so grateful. The medication she prescribed me helped me a Lot. Thank you !!!!”
“I am army veteran and nurse, professionalism, integrity, and duty to service are very important to me. I was referred to Dr. Dubose by my primary care physician for ketamine therapy for my PTSD. following a car accident in August 2025. I should have known it would be a disaster, from the first appt it was nothing but issues. I explained to Dr. Dubose that I never have taken medication for my PTSD it was managed with holistic remedies, and life changes. I also explained him my number one fear with a treatment like this was being drugged to the point that I am defenseless. The small issues that I had with the clinic changed to a catastrophic disaster in January 2026. On, Thursday January 15, 2026 at 2:33pm I arrived for my appt 3pm appt. My usual nurse wasn’t in the office and the nurse for this treatment hair was all over her head and she was frantically rushing from one task to another. I finished my paperwork and then the nurse with the hair all over head calls me back. I follow her to one close to the waiting area. I get settled and the nurse comes in and places the first IV in right arm. I immediately tell the nurse this IV is NOT in correctly and to please take it out and redo the IV bc it doesn’t feel right and is uncomfortable. She flushes the IV and says no it’s fine. let’s start the IV I said no it feels weird pls take it out. She said it’s fine and tells me to relax it’s probably bc I haven’t been there in a while I’ve been a nurse for years I know what it feels like when you the IV is infiltrated. She said no it’s fine and she going to start the infusion. She starts the infusion and within 5 min I press the call light a Med Asst comes in, in burgundy scrubs and I ask her to get the nurse the IV is not incorrectly and feels like it’s infiltrated. She gets the nurse and the nurse comes in and again dismisses my concerns. I tell her my arm is cold and numb she ignores me I tell her so feel weird. She ignores that too. The infusion finished and beeps on the pump as finished. When she cuts the light on what happens, my arm is swollen huge and cold to touch WHY bc the infusion infiltrated. I tell her i feel weird and that this is why I called her and said it’s something wrong. The nurse with the hair all over head then puts in a new IV on my right hand and draws up another 80 cc of ketamine after the first one infiltrated this is something I didn’t know until after both treatments were complete. Now if you are wondering from infiltrated means it means that the medication didn’t infusion through a vein as it was supposed to it it was in my tissues. I tried to call my sister which is normal usually I am able to function even during and after my treatment. Meaning my body would absorb the first ketamine dose as well as the additional dose she gave me. In the medical world this is a MEDICATION OVERDOSE and medication error. The provider is supposed to be notified immediately. However the nurse failed to inform the doctor of the medication overdose and error. I called my sister during this time and i told her something is wrong and to come to the clinic please. The nurse came and snatched my phone out my hand and said i wasn’t suppose to be on my phone. When the nurse asked me about my experience I was honest I told her it was the scariest experience i’ve had i felt like i was dying i terrified. I tried to get up i couldn’t even figure out how to get up by myself that’s how drugged I was. I walked to the break room where my sister was and another female physician and told her something was wrong. The nurse is supposed to walk you to your car bc you know you were just drugged this nurse left me at the back stairs for me to find my way to car and watched me thru the break room window. Because of the word count limit i’ll have to shorten the rest by saying I suffered for weeks with no help from the doctor and then when I continued to ask for help I was canceled as a patient. No one should ever be treated like this. I still suffer with symptoms from that drug overdose it has impacted my mental health and career severely!”
