What patients say on Google

“It took a lot of courage to make an appointment after recent losses. I came in hoping to work through some deep issues. This was my second visit, my first therapy session after intake. I was given a form about how I cope with stress. I did not check marijuana. The therapist told me I smelled like weed and called me a liar. We had just met for therapy and I was not ready to share everything yet. I would have opened up over time if I had felt safe. Instead I felt judged and unwelcome. I wanted to leave during the session but had to wait for my ride. I left feeling worse about myself and never went back. I know I will not get feedback here as I see that is a pattern, but I hope this encourages more empathy for new patients. Trust takes time to build, especially when people feel they have no other options”

“As someone with depression, being expected to show up every time on time is a bit ridiculous. If you miss 2 appointments, they want you to come in when they decide. Its as if they dont know how dealing with depression works, I cant always show up so dont expect me to. Its like im being treated as if it were a damn job. They arr always always always getting someone new in for medicine, which sucks and is stressful. The therapist I had didnt do much of anything, i had to pry her to get tips on hoe to cope. It was the younger woman, Payton I believe. And my case manager? A JOKE. I needed resources so many times, and asked mulitiple tkmes about resourses and nobody would get back to me with them. I hate this place.”

“Everything was great for about a year. My therapist was amazing but decided to take a different path in their career, so… I was told that someone would contact me to have me placed with a new provider. That was right before Thanksgiving 2025. I still hadn’t heard anything come January. I finally called and was told that the clinical/psych manager would call me back soon with new placement. It’s been almost a week and I still haven’t heard anything. Playing around with people’s mental health is a real risky thing to do. I already found a new therapist outside of Frontier and will likely be getting my meds moved to my primary if possible. I don’t feel seen or respected by Frontier. It kind of makes me wonder why my therapist switched gears. 🤨🧐”

“First off their adult services are unprofessional for example i had a case manager who volunteered to help me with my drivers guide but when I went to that appointment not only did they state they didn’t like doing that but also tried to force me to talk to them about a recently deceased family member and when I informed them I didn’t feel comfortable talking about that they refused to listen to me their job was case management not therapy thinking about it now they broke hippa privacy I spoke with my therapist from there about my deceased family member not my case manager but my case manager made it known they knew about it second thing is children services specifically case management has issues with making home appointments and then no call no show on the scheduled date after I tried calling to find out what was going on they ghosted me for two months and then begged for a second chance and turn around and do the same thing again so I personally wouldn’t refer anyone to this place due to how unprofessional they are and the top boss when informed of everything refused to listen to me and tried to blame me for up and stopping going through them”
