What patients say on Google

“This place is amazing! The staff really cares about each person, and you can tell they do. Overall my experience there was incredible! We went to the beach twice, and to the springs once in the time I was there on Saturdays. When the group got small enough, we were able to go out as a group and attend outside AA and NA meetings. I find myself thinking at times that I wish I could go back because I enjoyed my time there so much. I recommend this place to anyone starting their recovery journey, especially any Veterans!”

“I’m giving three stars because even though my experience with Florida Springs was very bad, I realize that not everyone has the same. I was incorrectly medicated more than once. I was lied to about financial obligations. Get everything in writing! If it weren’t for the fact that the facility is clean, the techs are nice and they feed you well, I would give it zero stars. I got zero rest, recovery or wellness at Florida Springs. Could be just that I am over 50, a little high maintenance and have some health issues like high blood pressure… Whatever the case, If you or someone you know needs help, get it, whether it’s here or somewhere else. Best wishes.”

“If you are sent to Florida Springs Wellness for a COURT-ORDERED PROGRAM, be terrified. This facility operates less like a healthcare provider and more like a predatory billing scheme that will gamble with your legal freedom to squeeze out extra profit. 1. THE "INDEFINITE HOLD" INSURANCE SCHEME I was in a court-ordered program and I successfully completed all the coursework months ago. Instead of discharging me so I could move on, they kept me on the schedule indefinitely. They refused to let me graduate because they wanted to keep billing my insurance exorbitant amounts for unnecessary sessions. They prioritized their billing cycle over my court compliance. 2. BANNED FOR CASH (WHILE ON THE WAY THERE) The moment my insurance/cash flow slowed down, they turned on me. I am on disability and I had been paying them in cash, whatever I could afford, every time they asked. It wasn't enough for them. They literally called me while I was driving to the facility for my session and told me I was banned from entering unless I paid the entire balance in full right then. Despite my consistent attendance and cash payments, they locked me out the moment the money stopped, knowing full well this was a court-ordered obligation. 3. THE COVER-UP & THE FAKE LETTER When I reported this financial extortion to the State, the facility lied to cover their tracks. The Lie: They told the State (and my Probation Officer) that I was discharged for "behavioral non-compliance." The Fake Letter: To back up this lie, they claimed they sent a "Certified Letter" warning me. This is a complete fabrication. They cannot produce a USPS tracking number because the letter never existed. They invented a paper trail to hide the fact that they dumped a compliant patient for money. 4. THE CONSEQUENCE: A WARRANT FOR MY ARREST Because they reported this false "behavioral" discharge to my Probation Officer, I now have an active warrant for my arrest. They withheld the records that proved I was compliant until it was too late. I finally paid their "ransom" fee to get the records released, but the damage is done. BOTTOM LINE: They milked my insurance, banned me when I was dry, and then lied to the government to cover it up. Now, I am facing jail time solely because this facility prioritized their profit over a patient's life. Do not trust them with your freedom.”
