Fern Terrace of Mayfield

“All I did was merely call trying to get information about this being a possible placement for a loved one. The phone rang then sounded like either intentionally or accidentally hung up loudly. Before I could call back they did. When I answered they said “Hello, did you call?” In a bothered rude tone. I asked “is this fern terrace?” And the reply was an annoyed “yay” based upon JUST THAT interaction I know with certainty THIS IS NOT THE PLACE.”

“This place is not fix for anyone's loved ones. It's dirty and not sanitary at all. The bathrooms are in need of repairs. The whole building is in need of repairs. I don't know how this place pass the state inspection not unless they are not doing their job properly. Fern Terrace needs to be reported to someone high up at the Kentucky state department. Maybe they will shut it down for good. A very bad place. Do not take your family members there !”

“Fern terrace assistant director is rude uncaring and should not have her job. I went with another person to see about volunteering. She was so very very rude. Did not want to be bothered. Her attitude was unacceptable. She snapped at us. Just a horrible attitude and horrible experience. I can only imagine how she speaks to the residents.”

“This place does NOT have licensed nursing staff. The ONLY license holder, is the administrator and assistant administrator. The "nurses" who pass meds including narcotics, are not licensed, at all!”
