“Dr. G has helped me so much over the past few years. She is genuine and cares about her patients wellness!”
“If you have a child with an autism diagnosis, do your due diligence before making an appointment with Dr. Greenwald. My wife and I have a 7 year old that was not diagnosed until he was nearly 5 because he doesn’t fit the “classical” autism diagnosis. He’s high functioning, curious and loving. Recently, to ensure we were doing everything we could to help our son mature and integrate with his peers, my wife made an appointment to see a specialist with NY Presbyterian Behavioral Health. Dr. Greenwald conducted the zoom intake meeting and asked why we sought their services. My wife explained we wanted to ensure we were providing our son with all the available services we could obtain. When she asked if my wife had any concerns she explained he had recently left our yard and went into our neighbors yard to play without asking prior permission. Dr. Greenwald took that opportunity to notify the NYS Administration for Child Services rather than acknowledge that autistic children can be impulsive and have a tendency to wander. My son was literally in our next door neighbors yard for 5 minutes but Dr. Greenwald decided in her 40 min zoom call to disregard my sons loving, safe home and support system determining that my wife didn’t supervise him properly. The ACS case is being closed because it’s not warranted but my wife’s confidence as a mother has been shattered. She questions every decision she makes while living in a constant state of anxiety. She is utterly distraught by the baseless accusations of Dr. Greenwald. I, along with my sons school, primary dr and primary psychiatrist are absolutely livid. I’ve made a complaint with the NYS Board of Health, the NYS Professional Licensing Board and NY Presbyterian in regard to her actions. For those advocating for their special needs child find a different doctor.”
“Dr Greenwald is kind, listens, and gives excellent support.”
“"I am incredibly grateful for the support and guidance I’ve received from Dr. Greenwald. Throughout my journey with depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts, Dr. Greenwald has been a constant source of compassion and expertise. Her insightful approach helped me navigate some of my darkest moments, and I always felt heard and understood during our sessions. She provided me with practical tools and techniques that have significantly improved my mental health. Thanks to her care, I feel more empowered, resilient, and hopeful for the future. I highly recommend Dr. Greenwald to anyone seeking help with their mental health."”
