“I was referred here for my child. I got an initial text, but it went downhill quickly. There were several texts back and forth because I kept suggesting dates that they didn't have available. Turns out, they have a scheduling procedure which requires completion of new patient paperwork - that I had never received and couldn't find! - BEFORE they will schedule a new patient appointment. There were also several other details that they neglected to disclose until much later in the process. After several unsuccessful attempts to schedule an appointment, I ended up talking to the provider, who scheduled an appointment (several weeks out - not a problem) and said they could email the paperwork (digitally). However, the paperwork HAD AN EXPIRATION DATE! If I didn't return the completed paperwork in 5 days, they would close my child's file. I have NEVER encountered a provider that would cancel a new patient appointment for not submitting new patient paperwork BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT EVEN HAPPENED! I didn't open the first email immediately because I never expected an expiration date, but I caught the second email telling me that if I didn't turn it in by COB that day, her file would be closed, and by that point I couldn't get to the paperwork on time because of my schedule that day. Here's the kicker - I went back to look at these emails and THEY NEVER SENT THE PAPERWORK! No attachment, no link, nothing indicating where the paperwork was. IF they sent it, I have NO idea how they did it or where it went. But, either way, I missed the 5-day expiration date, so NO appointment for my child who truly needs a provider. This was not only a massive waste of my time, but this was so disrespectful to me and my child!”

“At first Dr. George was great, she called me soon after i submitted the form on the website and talked me through the process. The first initial intake appointment was set up but I needed to reschedule. I reached out to the office and messaged Dr. George on the portal to reschedule and I didn’t hear from anyone for 4 days. For a psychiatric provider I find this very unprofessional. I don’t want the to drop everything to get back to me but I would like a response within 48 hours since that is their cancellation policy. Finally I just wanted my appointment to be cancelled since I wasn’t comfortable with seeing a provider that doesn’t respond. Then I got an email from Dr. George saying she cancelled the appointment within a few hours. Where was this quick response before?”

“Not very professional in any aspect. Communication was not great; service was not great. I did not feel truly cared for in the way you want and need a medical provider to. Dr. George did not provide any real evaluations with me other than the initial. I came to her with a concern of a different issue and she made me feel invalidated and did not believe my concerns. She just simply asked and left it up to me to decide what I wanted to be treated for since she did not believe me. Which in my opinion is very unprofessional and is what made me decide to part ways. When I reached out to be discharged, she did not even reply, just sent me the discharge summary and that was that. Very disappointed with where things ended, I wish I had listened to the signs sooner. Would highly suggest looking elsewhere for psychiatric care.”
