What patients say on Google

“The so called counselor was not at all professional. She did not listen. She made remarks that were biased and inaccurate. It was not at all acceptable. It was a waste of my time, money, and gasoline. Then she called me on the phone and told me to come back for more therapy. 'Fraid not.”

“It is truly hit or miss when it comes to therapists here. My partners therapist is amazing for them and work great, but the therapist I ended up getting did not help at all. I’m not sure if this was some strategy to make me feel comfortable, but she told me way too much about herself and when I discussed things she would talk about things she did. Like no offense, but I’m paying you to help me through my stuff, not listen to you about your family. She also was never prepared for our session and never remembered anything previously discussed. I left it for a while because I thought again, maybe we just need to get settled and then it will work, but after a few months of working with her, I still had no progress. I then decided, maybe I could transfer to a different therapist because this particular one just isn’t working. I called and was transferred to someone who could transfer me, she asks me what’s wrong, I tell her, and then she asked me if I had discussed any of this with my therapist, I said no. Then she says something to the effect of “if you don’t tell her what she’s doing wrong, how is she supposed to fix it?” And told me to talk to her before I could try and transfer. First off, I have severe anxiety which makes it hard for me to confront people, second, do you need to tell a therapist how to do her job? No, that’s not only rude but not my job. I eventually just called and cancelled all my appointments. Never going back.”

“One of the directors of this organization told me it is my choice to not believe my son was fed to goblins and it was my choice to not believe the three stories that happened simultaneously at once and backed up the interviewer that said she has no reason to believe my son was lying. The lady she is defending is also apperently married to a lawyer in my case and got full custody of my son even after abandoning him for over a year. (I did Marijuana. CPS prefers methamphetamine and amphetamine on my drugtest though.)”
Griffin
“The quality of the staff is below average; by a lot. The staff acts like psychologists when their training yields social work. They overstay their appointments (which bills insurance $125 per 50 minutes), are regularly late for the appointment, and have deplorable mental health training. Sub par at best. I don’t recommend ANYONE coming to Family Services of Green Bay, Wisconsin.”
