“The provider that sees my son has been nothing shy of excellent. With the other parent I've worked with, there was some hesitation for his care. The provider was understanding and even convincing of the necessity after a much more intensive level of care. She has been thorough on follow-ups and reached into some deeper issues that others have missed. I could not recommend this more...and I AM a mental health provider with two graduate degrees and post-graduate work in the field...so I have a high bar. When in need, give an appt. for Lexi. It’s very rare to find a facility where all the staff care about you and make you feel welcomed- they really put the “Family” in Family Psychiatric Care, because that’s what you’re treated as!! “I arrived at 9:30 am mistakenly when the appointment was apparently 9:20 am. I was turned away and was charged $100.00!!?! Absolutely outrageous, especially from a mental health care facility. People are hanging on by a thread financially as well as with their mental health now more than ever and I think it’s disgusting to take advantage of people in this way. To charge someone that amount of money for a ten minute mix up on an appointment is nothing but greedy. In general this would be absurd let alone when many of their guests struggle with issues like remembering appointments and time management. Clients need those appointments far more than the clinic needs to make even more of a profit than they already do. If a 20 minute appointment is $175, a percentage should be charged if missed. Something like $30 or even $50 would be reasonable. This clinic is simply taking advantage of the people they are there to help and should honestly be ashamed.”
