Heather has always been outstanding when it comes to my care- however- since becoming my therapist I've found myself edging closer to balance even faster, thanks to the deep care and thoughtfulness she puts into every session, coupled with the rapport we've established over the more than three years as my case manager and almost a year as my therapist. If I am honest, there are a couple of issues I've expressed with business office/admin policy but aside from that, I'm very happy.”

“I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Evergreen Behavioral Health Services in Culpeper, Virginia. I want to make it clear, however, that my particular therapist was a kind individual who truly tried her best to be helpful, even while navigating what seemed like difficult circumstances herself. My issue lies squarely with the firm’s policies and management. I ended my relationship as a patient after they insisted I undergo various screenings with the Health Department because of concerns raised during my therapy sessions. Requiring patients to create a record with the Commonwealth of Virginia for such matters is both unnecessary and humiliating. This absurd policy shows a complete lack of understanding of mental health care and the real-world consequences such a record can have on someone’s life and employment opportunities. The overall experience was far from therapeutic. Instead of offering support, I was met with judgment and roadblocks, making an already difficult process even harder. After years of therapy with various providers, my time with this firm was by far the worst, though I believe this reflects the management and not the individual therapists, who may themselves be dealing with internal struggles due to the way the firm is run. If you're considering this firm, be warned: they offer gimmicky incentives like gift card raffles for reviews (the origin of this review), but from my perspective, the public deserves to know the truth. My experience here was a dismal failure in every sense, and I have every reason to believe they put profit over patient care at every opportunity.”
