“I have been coming here for years, and now I have the privilege of visiting the Lehighton location. Allison has been my provider for many years, and she has always taken the time to listen, make sure I’m doing well, and genuinely care about my overall well-being. I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences with Allison, and I would follow her wherever she goes. Today’s visit was no exception. Jenn and Tanya at the front desk are always kind, welcoming, and professional, and Kathy is wonderful every time she helps as well. I highly recommend this practice to anyone. It’s rare to find a place where the staff truly care about your individual needs, especially when it comes to mental health, but that’s exactly what you’ll find here. Thank you, Allison, for everything you’ve done for me over the years, and thank you to the entire staff for your compassion, kindness, and support. It has made a tremendous difference in my life. I can’t recommend this office enough!”

“It seems like most of the people here leaving negative reviews have an issue taking accountability for their actions. Be honest and accountable, show up on time, pay what you owe. If you can't, communicate and they will likely work with you. Stop blaming others for your mistakes. Despite several complaints, they are constantly booked, which is good to see, because most of the people in Carbon County and surrounding areas DESPERATELY need mental health treatment. The people at Ethos want you to succeed, and want to see their clients improve the quality of their lives, generally speaking. The ladies at the front desk have been nothing but respectful and kind to me. Kim is great when it comes to med management. Ryan and I didn't click, but that's okay, you won't always vibe with every counselor you're paired up with. I would recommend Ethos Clinic to anyone in the area who wants to take a genuine look at their mental health and improve it.”

“Flagged for missing counseling due to having work twice and now I’m screwed out of receiving mental health help because of their ridiculous half thought out rules. I’ve called 5 times to get back in with carol and was told the manager said I was flagged. So you truly don’t have any idea what is going on in my life and denied me help. But now I’m gonna have to find another therapist somewhere over an hour away because I was turned away. Thank you so much for absolutely nothing. Don’t recommend anyone to come here. They don’t care. And it’s quite sad.”

“Tried to withhold my essential medication until I traveled over 45 minutes to sign for insurance. Refused to schedule appointments with the psychiatrist until I went all the way to Leighton to sign for which they would not be able to schedule the same day. Gave me an unlicensed therapist who didn’t take notes and never followed up on previous visits. Front staff are dismissive at best and straight up disrespectful at worst. Never had an appointment with the psychiatrist that lasted longer than 2 minutes and I'm not joking. Whole place reeks of underfunding and lack of care. My advice if you’re stuck here with a co-pay bill or insurance signing, ask your primary care doctor if they can manage your meds, and see if you can change therapists to someone in your local healthcare network. At least in my case LVHN was able to do both and I’ve never been happier to not have to deal with these people. Also one last thing, if you are here and they prescribe you gabapentin for anxiety, be aware they will give you enough of it (literally 2 bottles of 60 pills) to hook yourself on an addictive pharmaceutical. Avoid this place if you have even the slightest amount of self respect.”
