“I took my family member here for an evaluation and it was very isolated building. Thought we were in the wrong building. Cindy The first lady you speak with is extremely nice and sweet. But then the intake person told us to leave our belongings in the waiting room then she continued and said we could put them in a cubicle with a lock. I asked her for the key because my purse is in there and my keys, which I understand she said no I can’t have the key it would be given to the front desk. I think the more professional way of going about this would be leave your belongings in the car don’t bring anything in with you but your car keys. Also, they lock you in the building and you have to be let out total fire hazard.”

I stayed here for 60+ days and honestly didn’t want to leave. I loved everyone that worked in the adolescent unit and hope they still work here!”

“My stay at this psych ward was not pleasant. A lot of the staff were disrespectful and rude. I was in the adolescence program around 2021. My favorite staff was Latroya and Cory, they were so nice. The day I was getting discharged, Melissa threatened me that I wouldn’t be getting discharged because I talked about how I make impulsive decisions during group therapy. When releasing me to my parents, she brought me in the elevator with her and was being unprofessional. Staff would also constantly gossip about other patients. The level system is dehumanizing. The fact that you cannot talk to anyone or sit by anyone but staff when you first get there is outrageous. The food was very good though. I learned new coping mechanisms, however I felt worse than when I came in. Also they’re very quick to put you on medication. I think that is odd, my opinion is that they just want to drug you up to give you short term solutions to long term problems.”
