How likely are you to recommend Empire State Psychiatry?
What patients say on Google
“"It’s rare to find someone who balances professionalism with such genuine empathy and active listening, but Jordan did exactly that. She made me feel completely comfortable and gave me excellent advice to jumpstart our first visit. I’m feeling really hopeful about what’s next and look forward to our future sessions."”
“Started a new therapist a month ago who immediately flagged that I had adhd but I would need to speak to someone who was able to do an assessment and possibly proscribe medication. Lindsay was extremely professional and understanding this morning! She was able to identify what was going on and paths forward with alternative options. It was great to finally be formally diagnosed after only guessing at this for a while now but also know that there are solutions and she explained it all in a way that I could understand especially at 8am haha. Highly recommend speaking with her if you are on this journey to figure out what’s going either with your adhd or mental health. Thanks again”
“I cannot recommend Ashley enough. As a PMHNP, she brings such a rare combination of intelligence, attentiveness, and genuine compassion to her care. From the very beginning, she truly listened to everything I had to say without rushing or dismissing any concerns. What stood out most to me was how thoughtful and intentional she is. She takes the time to understand the full picture and makes you feel completely seen and supported. It’s clear she cares deeply about her patients and is incredibly knowledgeable in her field. Finding a provider who is both this clinically strong and this kind is not easy, and I feel very lucky to be under her care. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a mental health provider who truly goes above and beyond.”
“This whole experience has been distasteful. Front desk doesn’t care about patients. Supervisors don’t make efforts to show urgency or care for patients inquiring for assistance. Psychiatrists will cancel appointments and make it nearly impossible to get a hold of. If you value your peace of mind, genuinely seek another place. Maybe I just dealt with the people who don’t care, but my depression and anxiety are worse now and I give up completely. This is why people don’t seek help, because of people that don’t give a damn. How are links not sent out in advance? I never even got a patient portal sign up link? Why do I have to call and reconfirm that I’m scheduled? Does your front desk staff not have work flow of doing appointment confirmations to assure your patients don’t miss? But it’s okay to schedule people, not send links and then have them pay $100 every time they no show? Thats malpractice and I think you should revise how you address and help patients.”
