How likely are you to recommend Emily Freimuth, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner?
What patients say on Google
“My experience with Emily was not good. She was a very hands-off psychiatrist who didn't make enough of an effort to be active in my care. The breaking point for me was when she brought up six different medications and treatments and basically gave me two options: choose one right then and there with incomplete information, or go home and do all the research myself. She didn't even volunteer any real information about any of them, except that one of them has a very rare side effect that can make your skin slough off. I was visibly mentally unwell at the time and I have no idea why she thought I could handle that. She is a VERY fast talker and will casually throw around words like "sodium channel" and "tricyclic antidepressant." (Those two stuck with me in particular.) I don't think she ever saw me for more than half an hour out of my hour-long slot. Conversations with her are disorienting and rushed, which is especially awful when you're exhausted and in acute distress (which she seemed to mostly ignore). I can't prove it, but I'd swear she either didn't read the entirety of my messages, or purposely ignored parts of them. Hard to say, but both possibilities are not good. Emily was the one that made me quit the whole company. I wish I hadn't hung on for so long, because it's been crap after crap with these people. All of the six people I saw (talk therapy and psychiatry) were their own kind of bad. I guess that's what I get for trusting a profit-driven chain like Lifestance.”
“Lifestance is a very professional, organized, easy to work with company. Ease of scheduling, appt reminders, many providers and treatments, quick management of any issues that arise . Specifically, PNP, Emily Freimuth is an excellent provider. She is warm, caring, and friendly. She’s easy to relate to, and makes me feel comfortable sharing details of my life and needs. She’s asks necessary questions without it ever feeling like an interrogation, but natural communication. I never feel judged. Can’t put to words how important that is. I hope to continue seeing her and would absolutely recommend both Emily and Lifestance.”
“Please beware of seeing this provider. She blacklisted me as a patient because I lost insurance. I don't mean she wouldn't see me without paying- I mean that I suffered an abrupt job loss, and completely lost access to treatment during a stressful period. Since this happened I have not been able to see another provider and my fear of this happening again is too great, leading to worsening symptoms. Please do not see this provider, she has no empathy for patients.”
“From my very first visit with Emily, I felt immediately at ease and in good hands. Emily has always treated me with respect, professionalism and patience. I could not recommend her more.”
