“Embark in ashburn was truly a life changing experience for the better. I had been struggling with my mental health for awhile. My family had come across embark, and after being through so many places that weren’t helpful, we decided to give this place a try. I was very hesitant at first, knowing the past of other places being a let down. After I walked in for the first time my mind had completely changed. The atmosphere alone is so welcoming and comforting. The actual space and roominess and the overall vibe was and is great. The staff as well as the other patients there were so nice and welcoming right off the bat. To me, it’s not all about the place, but the people. On top of the building being beautiful, the staff were beautiful. They always worked together to accommodate and understand what is truly going on. I have never felt more heard or understood in my whole life, which is something I had always struggled with. My needs were always met, in a timely manner too. I know for a fact they always have, and always will care. The staff always find a solution for struggles going on. I am proud to say out of all the facilities I have been to, Embark was hands down the most helpful. They genuinely care, and not many places can confidently say that. There’s the obvious fact of they did not “cure” my mental struggles, but they did provide me with lots and lots of information to help me with any situation. Because of Embark, I now know how to properly live a safe and healthy happy life. Without embark I would not be who I am today. I am so beyond grateful for each staff member there and all they taught me. I can gladly recommend this place to people knowing they will be able to get any help they might need.”

My child who turned 18 while in treatment with them experienced a seamless transition from the teen to the young adult program. Her therapist and medication provider were extremely accessible and knowledgeable. She is a completely different person. Embark changed our lives and saved our daughters.
