What patients say on Google
“Great location, and easily accessible. Plenty of parking. Maureen the receptionist is a sweetheart. She is caring and ready to answer your questions or concerns. Dr. Paul Moffett is caring. He takes out the time to listen attentively and engaging with your pressing need. Dr. Moffett is knowledgeable in the area of goal and treatment attainment. He is funny also. I am glad that God led me to Ellis Counseling. One of the best decisions I've made for my health and healing ✨️ ❤️”
“If your having mental problems, or just need somebody talk too. Come here. That decision could change your life!”
“My 11 yr old was told that she has major depression and anxiety during her initial visit. Why would I think a highly trained and expert staff would consult with the guardian of the child in private before even considering to privately consult with sn 11 yr old? Why would I possibly want my child further examined by individuals that may have actually paid for medical school? Why should I wait for a majority of symptoms to make a diagnosis that is recognized industry wide? Why should I be concerned my child now has a good reason to believe she has defects? I was told that the owner was awesome. I suggest the owner go ahead and retire or at least manage your staff. Skilled labor should charge for their skils. I question the skills of this insurance funded office. This is partly why insurance is so expensive . If my daughter suffers because of this; I will absolutely see that everyone responsible accounts for their actions. Is this the price for worshiping @ diversity, equity and inclusion? My family is mainly comprised of medical professionals. I welcome you to defend what your office did to my daughter.”
“My counselor was Shannon Humphreys. I am already a hyper aware person, but she made me feel stupid, she was condescending. She talked down to me saying "listen to me, I'm the professional". I realized she was not a good fit for me as I am a sensitive person and felt disrespected when she spoke to me in that manner. If you don't want to be spoken to in this way, I would suggest finding another counselor. They also did not disclose to me what their rates are. She said she offered hourly sessions which I agreed to, but didn't let me know she offered other shorter sessions. I felt like she was just charging me the highest rate in order to make money off of me. Please look elsewhere.”
