“I absolutely loved my therapist here however, the way they went about letting patients know that she was leaving was terrible and very unprofessional. I received an email stating that my therapist would be leaving the practice and that I could talk to her at my next session. As someone in the mental health field I can say that this was not the way to deliver such sensitive information. I had to then wait to see her to ask questions and after was told that someone would reach out to me about transferring. I waited over a week (I was being seen weekly) and when someone did reach out it was via email basically saying they reviewed my information and were taking over my therapists clients. No phone call, no sense of connection or interest, just business. For this reason alone I would say that if you are in need of real support and consistency, look elsewhere for mental health support.”
