“We started the assessment process for ADHD for our son in late August and were scheduled for a day in office in December where he completed all of the tests with a psychologist. Perhaps this should have been a red flag, as we had to follow up several times to get this scheduled. We provided timely responses to the paperwork that we were sent home with and sent connections to his teachers so that their feedback could be included. We have sent over twenty follow up requests since December and have been told three times that we should be receiving the report in the next few days. We only receive responses to our emails when we loop others at Ellie and that is still rare. Our son is now in the final quarter of the school year and we have received the written report, despite our many requests, so we can't get accommodations through the school or work with his doctor to help him. I've called the national Ellie scheduling line as a desperate attempt, emailed the clinical director and practice owner, and cannot seem to get anyone to help us get the report. We continue to watch our son struggle and will just pay out of pocket to get another assessment done at this point, so we don't spend another school year without any help.”
