What patients say on Google

“I was seeing Trinicia. I didn’t mind my sessions running late because I do understand sessions can lag behind due to clients in crisis. However there have been several sessions where my therapist was late and has openly admitted to continuing a conversation that was not a crisis. I have had several sessions get cut short due to my return to work at a specific time and her being late. During my sessions, Trinicia has scrolled on her phone on social media or in group chats with other therapists which has made it feel hard to connect with her. I will be honest and admit that Trinicia did work with me when she did not charge me for sessions and drew up a balance of $700 and let me create a payment plan. However it was not therapeutic to have her make a phone call to her family during my sessions, to discuss personal life irrelevant to my session, and it was not therapeutic to be asked for my payment after taking up half of my session time discussing these matters. I have also reached out to the customer representatives regarding a charge made to my credit card double what I owe without my knowledge. I would have been more than willing to pay what I owe but I do not appreciate them taking money that may or may not be available without my knowledge. I have never been late or skipped a payment. Another and final withdrawal was made today. No communication was provided that they would attempt to make a withdrawal. Luckily I had the money. If not, I would’ve been put in the negatives and would have been overdrawn. I have not failed to make a payment yet they rush to get their money. Honestly, do better. The therapists should be doing better to take their payment day of. Not waiting till the last minute. I can understand the agreement of them charging my card, however, the communication at attempting a withdrawal was lacking.”

“Avoid this office. Wrong tax code was input, I was overcharged w no resolution. Appointments are set up with a real person but contacts for the office are only available through email so if you have any issues, they will be ignored! Trinicia was my therapist. I was supposed to receive trauma/grief therapy. 6 months into therapy I feel no relief so I question her. She states we haven’t even started due to my treatment plan with my psychiatrist. Why continue sessions if you aren’t doing what I ask for ? She stated it was unethical. So is charging me and my insurance for a service I never received. Only emails to address this issue. No responses. This has been awful on my mental state, leaving me hopeless. If you are searching for relief, you will not find it here! 2 stars so my review doesn’t get deleted. I would give 0.”

“I’ve been seeing Jessica at Ellie Mental Health bi-monthly for several months now, and I can’t recommend her enough. Every session leaves me feeling empowered and ready to take on the world. She has a deep understanding of LGBTQ+ issues, which makes me feel truly seen and supported. Scheduling is always easy, she’s prompt and reliable, and she’s incredibly flexible and accommodating whenever a reschedule is needed. The office itself is welcoming, professional, and beautifully decorated. I’ve already recommended Ellie to several coworkers, and they’ve had wonderful experiences with other therapists there too.”

“I've been seeing Abigail at Ellie Mental Health since September and she has helped me so much! I have always been so nervous about starting/going to therapy, but Abigail made the process so simple and easy. She responds super quickly to my emails whenever I need to change my appointment and has always been so accommodating. I've learned a lot from her and would recommend her to anyone!”
