How likely are you to recommend Ellie Mental Health?
What patients say on Google
“People recommend therapy to those like myself, someone who is unwell and can't find their way to recovery naturally. I have attempted therapy at three different clinics with the same result: a waste of time, a waste of money, and another scar. My first therapist barely tried, my second dropped me when she realized I wouldn't be an easy cash flow, and my third was here. I mentioned my problems, the hopelessness I felt about them, and tried to make an effort to improve as I will likely not live long enough to see a fourth. As time went on, the sessions felt less and less useful. Multiple times I thought to myself, "maybe I should leave," since it felt like a waste of time. I stuck around as this impulsive feeling was one of the reasons I was here. Eventually, my therapist recommended ending the sessions, staying in touch, and maybe coming back if I felt I needed it. I felt as though I had made some friendly connection, something I hadn't felt in years, and wanted to give something back as thanks. Of course she accepted the offer while I was there, but ignored me once I wasn't paying her anymore. One step forward, ten steps back. The things I had worried and feared were enforced once again. I just wanted to feel normal.”
“Horriable place as far as billing issues go just as the previous review stated. Beware if you pick this establishment to be told one thing and owing another a year later when they finally send out a statement. Was told only thing they could do about their mistake was make a payment plan, which is fine and the next day tried to set up a plan and they sent it to collections. Yes I have the emails to show.”
“No beuno. When you want to schedule an appointment, you get sent to a call center. Hopefully, the person on the other end can figure out how to schedule the appointment. Then, you show up on your scheduled date and time, sign in, and sit in the lobby for thirty minutes just to get up and leave because you're therapist was a no call no show👍🏻”
“Expensive. Billing is very slow. After several weeks of no response on what my insurance would pay, I find that this place isn't covered, and I owe full price my sessions. If you're coming out of the hospital and you don't have another choice, just be informed on what you're getting yourself into. If you do have another choice, don't start coming to this place until you know what you're paying. They have no problem stringing you along. Just be aware that your pending discounts could always end up being nothing.”
