“This was my first experience with therapy after years of deliberation. I had seven or eight sessions with my therapist before she stopped responding to my messages, and I cannot say I gained anything from the meetings other than the general relief you feel from discussing your emotions. During the first session she had me take quizzes, one for depression and one for anxiety, to determine which I struggled from. I had never been clinically examined before so I was very excited to get results. Every session after I asked to see the results but apparently the website took too long to load and I never, ever ended up seeing them. We only spoke about one or two actual methods of managing my emotions, neither of which were poignant enough to have been of any help. I was sent a message days late in response to me requesting an appointment, saying she was busy but would get back to me asap, that was almost an entire month ago. I sent a follow up message specially detailing how I was going through a rough patch and received no correspondence back. It was an extremely disheartening experience after batting a fear of therapy for years. Even if I wanted to return here for sessions, I am unable to reach my therapist.”
