How likely are you to recommend Elizabeth Kahari, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner?
What patients say on Google
“My provider was exceptional! Not only did she make sure to address my medication management issues, she took a genuine interest in something going on in my life and went the extra mile to help me and give suggestions. I am very happy with the care I received and will continue to go back to her!”
“E. KAHARI did not know my currant dosage of ADHD meds. I tried to tell her what I was taking, and what she had told me to take until my appointment on 4/8. She would not believe me. I have no idea what or whose file she was looking at. After my virtual appointment, I sent her the message I had sent her regarding my Adderal dosage and she responded what I was to take until my appointment on 4/8. She finally believed me after I had forwarded her the message. It was an upsetting appointment and I no longer feel confident under her care.”
“Elizabeth was very thorough and an excellent listener. She clearly understood my concerns and the connection between my stressors and the physiological impact as well. Moving forward, I feel confident I am in professional, capable hands to get the help I need.”
“I had an appointment with Elizabeth Kahari for medication management, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. She arrived nearly 20 minutes late, which set a frustrating tone from the start. During the appointment, she came across as impersonal and difficult to understand due to her heavy accent. More importantly, the interaction felt very scripted-like she was reading from a manual rather than genuinely listening or engaging with me as a patient. I did not feel heard or supported. When discussing my medication history, I explained that I had gone through a traumatic experience that affected my ability to stay consistent with my medications. Instead of showing understand or compassion. she seemed dismissive and lacking empathy. At one point, she mentioned that our back-and-forth conversation was an issue. I even asked her directly if I had been rude or disrespectful, and she said no. That left me confused about what the problem was, especially since I was simply trying to communicate and understand my care. When I asked how I'm supposed to know how to interact appropriately if there's no clear communication, her response felt rude and unhelpful. Overall, the experience felt cold, unkind, and unprofessional. I did not feel respected or cared for as a patient, and I would not recommend her based on this experience. I really think this was based off of my race she seemed racist.”
