“I WILL BE 100% FINDING A NEW PSYCH. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE. So let me begin. I am 22 years old - with history of anxiety, depression, mood swings, adhd, insomnia. I was put on Effexor where we went up on the dosage (150mg). I told my Dr. that it was not working and making me worse - to which we switched over to Zoloft. During my appointment, he recommended me to be switched to Zoloft - YET NEVER TOLD ME about the symptoms I would inquire or yet tell me to tamper the medication and take a break from any SSRI medication before starting a new one. I was not told ANYTHING. I just stopped cold turkey and began a new one where I was beginning to have serotonin syndrome. SEROTONIN SYNDROME CAN LEAD TO DEATH. I have been having nightmares, waking up drenched in sweat, irritated, having constant breakdowns, having brain zaps, feeling outside of my body, and so much more to find out that I was suppose to taper the meds to stop and not start new medication. This is not a psychiatrist - All they do is just give you more medication instead of truly helping. GO TO SOMEONE THAT ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT YOUR WELLBEING !!!!!!!!!!”
