“Posting this because I genuinely don’t know how else to try to get in touch with this office. Effect Psych Care was fantastic until the owner came out of no where and got more involved. It’s been downhill ever since. They laid off most of their staff and have been prioritizing sucking as much money as possible out of the clinic instead of providing the vulnerable population they treat with the care they deserve. I was a Sprvato Patient and jerkka did a fantastic job trying to hold the fort down after everyone else was fired to save money, but it is too much work for one person. My appointment has been cancelled the past three weeks and when I expressed my frustration, I was told it’s not in their control. But if providing care to your patients is not in your control, than whose control is it in? I can’t even get ahold of the office anymore which is extremely negligent of the owner. I have called dozens of times and their new automated AI hangs up on me no matter what I say. I have left voicemails and texted multiple times with absolutely no response. It is criminally negligent to be responsible for providing someone’s mental health care and be completely unresponsive and unreachable. I am blown away and so frustrated that someone who is a “doctor” can be responsible for doing so much harm to a clinic that was helping people. I would have a hard time believing I’m the only patient to be ghosted and abandoned while trying to seek mental health care. If you are a new patient considering effective psych care, I cannot recommend enough staying far away from this clinic now. You can’t trust them to stay in touch with you or provide you the mental health care you deserve. Additionally, when I could still get ahold of the clinic, the doctor is having their staff reach out to EVERY patient for TMS, which has a ton of risk, without doing any kind of consult or chart review. I had the office reach out to me twice because “the doctor recommended TMS for me” but I have never met this doctor. That is dangerous and I can’t trust this clinic with my care anymore.”

“Horrible after Mark retired. Made a telehealth appointment only to be told I cannot be given my meds. I will be going through withdrawal this weekend. Definitely avoid this place.”

“Jerrica is doing a Fantastic job, hardworking , dedicated i appreciate her sticking it out at effective psych care through all the changes and growing pains. I still miss Lana and Mark., Brooklyn; The old crew. I appreciate them more than I could put into words and they’ll be greatly missed. It will never be as good as before but have to say Jerrica and Linda are going a good job.”
