What patients say on Google

“Stephanie is an amazing doctor. She allows you to feel comfortable and very professional. Highly recommended for mental health professionals. The intake worker (I think) was very good. I felt like he knew exactly what I felt. He was excellent in putting feelings into words. He was very friendly and professional.”

“So far, I've been had two experiences with this office. Both times the front desk has been friendly and cordial, and both counselors have been understanding and smart as as well as Intuitive to the issues that I'm dealing with. They are honest but not harsh and tell me things that I need to hear. I appreciate working with them so far and look forward to continuing”

“The one star that I have to give goes to the fantastic front desk staff. Otherwise, all of my appointments were uncomfortable, and the main takeaway is the fact that they incorrectly conducted one of the diagnostic tests. All appointments began with unclear expectations since the provider did not even know what I had come in to be assessed for on all appointments with a new provider. The first provider I saw made me extremely uncomfortable and interrupted my answers to questions to ask a new one. I felt like there was a bias, and that some of my symptoms were being dismissed. I know not every provider is a good fit, so I requested a new one. The new provider loudly sighed whenever I struggled with a task, offered no breaks after beginning with “there will be multiple breaks,” and then diagnosed me with a condition I do not have and was not assessed for. Also, I know I don’t have it because I do not meet at least 5 of the listed symptoms in the DSM-5. AND it was not even one of the possible diagnoses my primary care doctor sent a referral to have assessed. At results, she dismissed the fact that my symptoms were always present and not “triggered” in adolescence. Worsen, sure, but not onset. The provider seemed to make that decision solely on external behaviors rather than searching for the underlying cause. But the biggest issue is the fact that the company arranged part of the assessment incorrectly so those results are invalid. It was supposed to be conducted by a person I had never met before, and it was not. Still, I had to pay for a waste of my time.”
