“I believe I am on year 5 here. I've seen Brittani throughout that time, and I believe she is a great provider. I can really only speak for her for this review, with some admin commentary. I get a wide reaction pertaining to my diagnoses from other providers, which typically is seen as red flags quickly. I do understand based on criteria - the "typical" presentation -but I can handle my actions even in the event of elevated or tanked moods. However, in the past I have been unheard about this. In this case, it's nice to be viewed as stable when discussing medication. I've never had any issue occur at this office or telehealth, and if I did have a bad reaction, was able to change prescription relatively quick. I think over the course of time there was some truth about admin/receptionist/etc in other reviews from my early experience. I don't exactly know when, but I haven't really had any issues with reception in some time - at least within the last 2 years (possibly longer?). I had a billing concern that I was provided documentation quickly to clarify I haven't been incorrectly charged and something was just out of sync. I was in the mental health profession for about 7 years, so I typically know the gist without assistance. That experience may alter my point of view from understanding how prescribing and office workflow occurs, while others may not be aware of all the processes. All that said, I don't think anyone should be concerned about coming here.”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about the East Tennessee Focus Center. From the moment you walk through the door, you can tell this is a place where people truly care. Dr. Sadonya Meadows Allen is exceptional. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely committed to the people she serves. Her experience and dedication to mental and behavioral health are evident in everything she does. Sadonya Allen Meadows is equally wonderful and brings such a caring, supportive presence to the practice. Adam, the office manager, goes above and beyond to make sure things run smoothly and that patients feel welcomed, respected, and taken care of. Together, they have created an environment that is professional without feeling impersonal. You are treated like a person, not a number. I would highly recommend the East Tennessee Focus Center to anyone looking for compassionate, knowledgeable mental health care. Five stars truly aren’t enough!”

“I would like to show appreciation for the staff at the Focus Center. My sister has struggled with depression for years. Clinicians wouldn’t pay attention to her. It wasn’t until we met Norma Jean that things changed. She took time to listen and dig to the root of the issues to heal from the inside out. She has been so patient and kind to her. She went in to this appointment not wanting to live but she left full of hope. Also, Adam. He has been so sweet on the phone when talking with us and so patient. I just can’t express my appreciation for this clinic. Thanks for giving my my sisters life back.”

“The only reason they get 5 stars is because of the girl up front, I think its Elizabeth, she's at the check out window. My daughter had a bad experience with her doctor that is downstairs in the office. She wouldnt listen to my daughter's concerns and dismissed how she was feeling. Feeling defeated she went to check out and thats when Elizabeth took care of her. She re-assured my daughter and comforted her and broke down what was happening in terms that my daughter understood. She did better explaining things than the doctor did. So thank you Elizabeth for all your help, you keep doing what youre doing.”
