How likely are you to recommend Dr. Saman Hasan?
What patients say on Google
“I am surprised to see such mixed reviews because I have really really enjoyed working with Dr. Hasan. She is attentive, thorough, and passionate about helping her patients. She has made the process of finding a medication that fits my needs as painless as it can be and has taken her time to walk me through each step and possible side effect. Highly recommend:)”
“Our son was a stillbirth at 34 weeks and the following pregnancy was a miscarriage. I was in a very bad place and my therapist had recommended seeing a psychiatrist to get some meds to help control my depression and anxiety. When I answered Dr. Hasan’s question of why I was there, her response was cold. Her words verbatim were, “What would you have done if those babies were born with something wrong with them? I have another patient whose son is severely disabled, and she wishes everyday that he had never been born. You can’t imagine her pain.” No psychiatrist should EVER say anything like this. Period. It’s dismissive and also very disrespectful. Needless to say my therapist was outraged and found me another psychiatrist immediately.”
“My intake with Dr.Hasan was the worst experience I have ever had with a medical professional. She was completely devoid of any compassion. Asking “whats wrong with you” and saying “if you aren’t at school or work what could you have to be stressed about”. She often interrupted me after asking questions, not letting me finish explaining my own symptoms. At the end of the session after I told her I wasn’t feeling heard she took no accountability for any of her actions whatsoever. She has no care, compassion, or understanding for her patients.”
“This woman should not be practicing psychiatry, or any medicine really. She was cruel and cold when my family member went to see her for severe depression and suicidal ideation. This is the last person you should go see if you’re experiencing a mental health crisis.”
