What patients say on Google

“Have been a patient here for 4-5 years and I will recommend you to stay far away. The office is not helpful. You have to call over and over just to get something done. If you’re looking out for your well being and truly want to get better. Avoid this place. They do not care about their patients. I had believed that Dr. Farid was the lone bright spot at this clinic. My last appointment with him, he made a mistake and lowered the dosage of my benzos from 1.5mg to 1 mg. We had initially agreed on reducing it .25mg to 1.25mg. He prescribed me 1mg and I realized it too late. The last 6 days of the month I have no prescription and they left me out to dry. I’ve been taking benzos 4-5 years daily. I cannot stop them cold turkey it’s dangerous. I have spent hours calling this office to try to fix this but they don’t care. They hardly answer the phone unless you call repeatedly. The answer I received from Dr. Farid is that he cannot help me and that I’m mistaken about the prescription change. This is what the office told me. And it’s just not true. Very disappointed. Had to scramble to find benzos elsewhere so I don’t end up in the hospital. No patient should ever have to experience this. Especially a psychiatric patient.”

“Very concerning that this practice doesn’t make it their practice to return parent’s phone calls for established, minor young patients they treat. We have left 4 voicemails (2 calls over the last two days) regarding medication that was suddenly stopped due to a trial quantity being out. It is unprofessional and shows lack of patient care and regard to not have a process to check patient voicemails and return calls. We are not ones to air concerns like this on social media, but perhaps this is the only way to communicate with them. They do make it a point to contact you prior to your appointment phone call to collect their copay, which seems tacky considering they don’t practice what they preach. I would highly reconsider working with practice given that patient care and communication is not high on their priority list.”

“They have made some mistakes but to their credit they are trying to get me back to the meds that I need and they had me balanced on for 2 years..... They did put me back on one of them and saw me for free. But I'm just so concerned about what I'm going to do with the other medicine that I was ripped off of my life has not been stable for months since and I pray that they listen to me this next visit because I don't know how else to explain to the Drs helpers... I know what I have been on for 25 years and I know what works and I have tried all the typical crap they prescribe that makes me feel like a zombie. So if you guys would simply give me back the medicine that Melissa ripped me off of... It's barely even controlled it's so mild....then I think everything will be ok.”

“Today I had my very first appointment there. The front desk lady was sweet, patient, and super helpful while I took forever to fill out my first time paper work :) I was super nervous about going to see a new psychiatrist, but the atmosphere of the waiting room put me at ease. The nurse that took my blood pressure and whatnot was very nice as well. She too, was patient and kind. I had an appointment with Eunice Ontita and she was very kind. She was professional and carefully listened to me speak. I felt comfortable talking with her and she seems to know exactly what she’s doing. The whole process took about an hour because I had to fill out first time patient paperwork. Once that was finished, I was in and out in very little time. Other patients that came in while I was filling out paperwork were in and out around 20-30 minutes! I enjoyed my appointment here. Again, I loved the staff and I felt safe in the environment.”
