What patients say on Google

“She has been supportive, compassionate, and helpful. We are grateful for the many resources of her practice. She has helped to guide our family through some difficult situations.”
Ruth O'Shea
“From the initial consultation with Dr Ferguson, I knew that I was placing my care in very capable and compassionate hands. I am actually in remission from depression for the first time in years. Nothing has been dictated to me, I have been an active partner in my medical treatment and the results have surpassed my hopes. She is brilliant, empathetic and devotes her entire attention to me when I speak to her. The clinical and office staff work to her high standards and help make even tedious treatments a positive experience.”
Christine Palmer
“Long lasting changes in my thought patterns from the treatments + therapy before and afterwards. Comfortable space, they have great counselors available on site as well. Dr. Ferguson was more than accommodating and prompt when it came to filling prescriptions. I genuinely don't think a lot of these negative reviews reflect the experience I had in any way or feel warranting of a 1 star rating. But that's just me.”

“I had a consultation with Dr. Ferguson December 2022, and it did not go well. Firstly, I was led to believe she accepted my insurance, only to find out during my consultation with her that my insurance wasn't accepted. Then she asked me what my "pronouns were". I'm a male, I have a deep voice, and facial hair. She can administer mind altering substances, but can tell I'm a man? I'm traditional, and told her that question was offensive to my values, to which she lectured me about needing to be "more tolerant". During the consultation she was throuogh, but distant and cold. I was reluctant to answer personal questions about myself, since I was just treated poorly. One question I had answered, I asked her to not disclose it to her staff or my psychiatrist out of concern of being treated badly. He reply to my request was just snarky, saying that "I should know better", and that I "will" disclose said private answer if I wanted a better relationship with my latter mentioned therapist! When it was over, Dr. Ferguson escorted me out of her office, and sent me off with a humiliating comment about how my socks and boots stank! If I hadn't waited 8 months for this appointment, and taken a 1 hours bus ride, I would have left right after being lectured! Instead I stayed, and left feeling bad about myself. A couple days later her receptionist called, asking me if I could grant Dr. Ferguson permission to speak with my PCP (for medication), and my psychiatrist. I reluctantly said yes, however I called back about 10 minutes later and told her I had changed my mind, and told her how I was treated. Her receptionist apologised, wished me well, and our call ended. Or so I thought. About a week later I got a call from both of my professionals (PCP and psychologist) stating that they both SPOKE with Dr. Ferguson, and DISCUSSED treatment! She went behind my back and spoke to them anyway! I called her supervisor, and ended up leaving a message on the answering maschine, reporting her violating my rights and also her maltreatment of me. About three days later, Dr. Ferguson herself called me (it was around 18:30/6:30pm) and told me in a snarky tone "Thank you for the lecture. I listened to your rant, and I will try to do better". I was at self checkout and couldn't talk, not that I wanted to, I was already fed up at that point, I just ended the call with "Yeah, sure. Bye." This woman should not be treating people before she gets, at least, a disciplinary about how to treat ALL patients with respect, and what HIPPA Laws are!”
