What patients say on Google

We're always grateful to have her in our corner!”
“Working with Dr. Meghan N. Starner, MD, over the years has been such a gift. She is the kind of clinician you refer to without a second thought, skilled, thoughtful, and truly invested in the people she sees. We're always grateful to have her in our community!”
“As a former colleague of Dr. Starner, I have witnessed the expertise and compassion with which she practices. She spends time listening to her patients and provides them with thoughtful, informed care. I have recommended her to several people and they have all been very impressed with her warmth and professionalism.”
“I was treated very poorly and abruptly by her while at a local hospital. She refused to speak with me one day of my stay due to misinformation I was given by the hospital staff about my treatment regimen and the next day during her rounds she began the conversation “I already read your notes from St. Luke’s about past trauma, I don’t care about that and am not here to talk about it.” The information she read was very personal and traumatic for me and for her to answer that way must indicate a lack of empathy for a mental health professional. I work in healthcare as an RN on an inpatient med surg floor and I know to never approach a patient (particularly someone going through mental health issues) that way. Having the privilege to be certified and educated in a professional is one thing but having the skills and ability to articulate that to patients is another. Of note, I was the first person to write a review about her practice and suddenly numerous positive reviews appeared at once. Damage control?”
