“I was set for a new patient appt with Dr. Edlund. I picked him due to all the good reviews and stories from others. I'm not sure if she's front office or the nurse, but Janet called me the day before and left a voicemail stating "that Dr. Edlund will not be prescribing me any controlled medications due to other medications I take." At that point I felt very uncomfortable as no where in my new patient paperwork did I say I wanted medication of any kind. If that's how you treat patients that are looking for help then that's definitely not the office for me. I'm sure he is a great provider but when the staff responds like this before even getting to know you, I feel that is very unprofessional.”

“*edit* One year later and I am still so happy with Dr. Edlund. He is extremely intelligent, and knows more about the mind and brain than anyone else I know. He’s a fantastic doctor. If you have any doubts, don’t. He’ll take amazing care of you. I just finished my first session with Dr. Edlund. I’ve been through multiple psychiatrists and therapists throughout my life, but never once did I end a session and burst into tears from the relief I experienced in knowing that the person on the other end genuinely cares and wants to get me healthy.
